Had them two months, wore the tread off and they soak up rain really good through the sole of the boot after wore down. Don't last to long. Placed Camp dry on the leather when first got them and had no problem with the leather, strings or the zipper. Sole of the boot is not worth it...

I bought these for my husband as a Christmas present 2 years ago. The ones he had, the soles were detaching from the boot. He kept glueing them to make them last longer. He needed a new pair and for whatever reason he didn’t buy new ones, so I did. I am so glad I did. They are still functional , a little rough looking but he has not needed to glue or fix anything since. He loves the laces/zipper on these, They stay secure and he says they are super comfortable. The boots are advertised as a Tactical Military Combat boot but this is not the case. They have Mil styling but are not constructed to hold up to heavy use which includes hiking over rough terrain. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, light weight and comfortable boot for everyday use I think you will like these and why I gave them 4 stars. I wear mine almost daily with off the shelf padded insoles making them great alternatives. I would buy them again. ... show more
