It's a tad larger than I was expecting, but I need it for when it's cold outside and I'm on the water. I wear an insulated bib that easily fills in the room that I wouldn't be able to in a smaller size. I have a short torso, so Like most semi rigid jackets, when I sit down, the bend in my hips pushes on the body of the jacket and forces the collar of the jacket push up against my neck and head making me feel like the kid in "A Christmas Story" that was bundled up to the point he could barely move. I don't think they make these in a "Short" size, but I'll take what I can get to stay warm and safe. The cuffs for the wrists are not the elastic I was expecting. It's a polypropylene type material, similar to what a wet suit is made from and has a velcro closure. Not what I was expecting; Older jackets that I have seen, have a traditional elastic material. ... show more

This jacket is made of high quality materials and It’s extremely warm. If you’re in cold weather environments and are looking to get away from bulky life jackets, this is the one for you. I’m very satisfied with mine and would recommend it to anyone. I gave it 4 stars on value because it seems a bit expensive to me, however, that’s just my opinion and otherwise I’m happy with it. ... show more
