I love the drums and so did my 3 year old. It’s a great size for a small toddler. The sound is good and didn’t need much tuning. It’s easy assembly and the black is pretty and shiny. It’s definitely age appropriate for a 1-4 maybe 5 year old. And easy to adjust. However, the screw become loose very quickly and the top of the foot pedal kept flying off. The foot pedal itself bent pretty quickly and high hat or cymbal stand kept falling down even after tightening. My husband is a drummer and did as much tightening to it as he could but they screws never stayed in place. My son’s set broke after 1 month.. if that! ... show more

What a fun drum set. We got this for our 3 year old's birthday. He absolutely loves it. I was surprised that the snare actually sounds like a snare instead of just another tom. We put a small blanket in the bass drum and this thing really makes some music. The cymbal leaves quite a bit to be desired, but all in all this was a wonderful purchase. Make sure to get some hearing protection for your little one though too. We made it a rule to put on his earmuffs when he plays, and he loves the drums so much that he happily abides. ... show more

This is a pretty cool drum set. One thing about it is this: everything slides around once you start playing. I’m not talking a little slip. The cymbal gets lose, everything goes out of whack. If that could be addressed, it’s a drum set I’d buy again. The other thing is the color. Or lack thereof.
