DOES NOT RUN AT ADVERTISED SPEEDS. I'm very computer savy, including overclocking my Desktop PC's RAM. Some modules (like the default 3200 RAM in my HP ENVY x360) can run at their higher speeds without overclocking or XMP required. I bought this assuming it did not need overclocking or XMP since the HP motherboard does not support that. I verified through multiple programs that these stick only run at 2400. I couldn't get a single program to identify the chips or timings, so these are bottom of the barrel chips for sure and probably don't actually have CL16 timings. Not worth keeping around. Synthetic RAM tests did show them to run similarly to 3200 CL22 but it real world apps like games, it actually performed visibly worse, I assume mainly due to the drastically lower clock regardless of CL timings. Maybe they work with XMP, but then it needs to be advertised that way. BUT I REALLY DOUBT IT, based on what I already saw, the packaging, and Mushkin branding as a whole. I really should have known better but they got me with that pricing. Don't be their next fool!

There's a lot to dislike about MSI gaming laptops, but the ability to easily upgrade them is awesome. Popped out the two sticks of ram that the GS66 came with and popped in these Mushkins. Laptop booted and been using it constantly for a few weeks now with no issues with the RAM upgrade.

Primero instale 2x8 gb 2666Mhz Cas 19 de otra marca de la cual no voy a hacer referencia devido a que tb son de buena calidad pero necesitaba subir a 32Gb, decidi comprar estas mushkin primero por su capacidad y baja latencia, pero tambien por que desde el año 2010 tuve un par de mushkin en mi PC de escritorio y ya tenia muy buena experiencia con Ram de este fabricante. Este kit fue muy simple configurarlo, solo fue instalarlo, encender la laptop y hacerle los test correspondientes los cuales todos fueron exelentes desde el inicio y la velocidad detectada automaticamente por el bios, note aumento hasta en la apertura de los menu y la carga de Photoshop e ilustrator y creo que no por su capacidad si no por su baja latencia. Las Ram se sienten de una calidad exelente y su funcionamiento super perfecto tal y como lo esperaba. Recomiendo este kit sin ninguna referencia negativa al respecto y era justo lo que esperaba encontrarme con un producto de Mushkin.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I had a high opinion of Mushkin, But when I put this in my ASUS A15 TUF 506IU gaining laptop the memory would only work at 2667MHZ not 3200MHZ. Seems like you need JEDEC compliant memory and this is not.

I noticed my laptop was struggling with memory, so I purchased this to expand the memory from 8gb to 16. Well, as soon as I installed the sticks, I noticed my laptop was running hotter than usual with constant fan noise. Swapped out one of these sticks for the old one, and the temps dropped 10 degrees. These sticks were compatible speed and size wise, so I'm not sure why it caused this issue.

RAM is as described - DDR4-2933, Dual Rank and works in Dual Channel mode. Installed and recognized in Dell Optiplex Micro 7080 (with i9 10900(not T)) without any issues. For this PC there's no reason to get XMP compatible RAM, as there's no option to use it with Dell bios. So these ones are not expensive and just do the work! I ran Memtest for 12 hours to check them - 0 issues were found.
