We bought a new mattress and didn’t want to buy a box spring. The customer service guy at the mattress place suggested we buy this instead. He said this is what people are buying instead of a box spring. It’s perfect! It’s sturdy and easy to assemble. I did it myself.

UPDATE: I am amending this review to 4 stars because the manufacturer took initiative and has made things right. Original: We selected this bedframe primarily because it had a headboard and no footboard. But also because it claimed to be heavy duty although my son weighs only 160. The embedded nuts in the support rods in the middle of the bed came loose and are no longer flush within the rod. It cannot be repaired. W/o the two support rods in the middle, the frame is useless. We ordered this frame before our move and now we're outside the return window. ... show more

Updated 4-23-2023 ***** 5 STAR I recently purchased and assembled a Munsen Home steel tubular queen bed frame. We discovered a foundation piece (part M) was incorrectly milled. We made the necessary changes ourselves and contacted customer service to make them aware of the manufacturing defect. Customer service representative, Ella, contacted me twice (first one went to the junk file) and offered 2 options to correct the situation. I opted for a generous refund. I would recommend them for my and other's future purchases, just because of this refund transaction. Thank you, Ella @ Munsen Home products. I am a happy camper. Review #1: The instructions say it takes 30 minutes to complete. Wrong. I took two of us, over 2 hours, after opening the package. The package came well padded, internally, all pieces accounted for. The Problem; the end center-post labeled "M" has incorrectly-placed drilled-holes for the attachment of the center-support-structure (see pg. 9, instruction sheet). Fortunately, my spouse is handy with a drill and bits, so we were able to correct the manufacturer's error; saving time from having to contact the manufacturer and wait, who knows how long for a replacement. ... show more

I bought these on sale.. set up was long and after everything was said a done I returned them, the bars continuously fell throughout the night which caused me to fall, not sturdy for any type of movement.
