The item was soooo small and a total waste of money. When we took it out of the already small box there was another box half that size with it in it. This looks like something you'd find at a Dollar store no lie. As soon as we got it we tried to do an immediate return to Amazon but Amazon rejected due to it apparently containing flammable liquid. All the positive features of this machine are described on its web page. And this description might be accurate for spices or coffee beans. But it's not usable for grains or dry beans at all because it cannot grind them into flour – some larger particles always remain and have to be sieved. Also, the cup doesn't close tightly, and the counter gets covered by the dust from grinding. The product was returned. ... show more

We used the product to grind whole spices and small amounts of rice to make flour. It’s great for the rice grains, but was not so great with whole seeds we tried to grind up. I do like the small size so it doesn’t take up a lot of space.
