These are my favorite boots! They are comfortable, like slippers, but can be worn outside. Though they do not lose stars for it, there are some things to consider when purchasing the boots. 1. They are not very waterproof. There is a lining that helps if it starts to snow a little, but not great if your feet are buried in the snow. 2. They are warm, as they are fully faux fur lined, but dont expect super well insulation from the cold. So, if its below 20F, or if your sensitive to the cold, dont wear them when you expect to be outside for long periods of time. 3. Don't cook with them on, or do something super messy with them on. They get beat up in the drier (and washer depending on the type you have) so handwashing is really the only option. Even with that, they are super cute and comfortable. Look great with sweater dresses. And for the price, I love them. I have bought them three times in the past 10 years (first time, they got messed up in the drier, second time I lost them somehow!) But assuming you take care of yourself stuff, they do last a few years. If this new pair doesn't hold up as well as the previous ones, I will update to let you all know.

I'm a true 10.5 in women's shoes. Typically when faced with the choice of either 10 or 11, I go with the 10s. But with the fuzzy lining in this boot, I decided to go with the 11s in the Tan color. I'm so glad I did! First impression was that I'd never be able to wear these things. I could push my foot down into them, but they seemed so very tight! I was wearing socks, but not really thick ones, so I thought I was worried I wouldn't be able to make these work. I called my daughter, because I bought these after seeing hers, and asked if this was normal. She told me yes - the inner lining will compact around the form of my foot and become the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. So I'm in the breaking in phase, and I have to agree with her. Every time I wear them, they get more comfortable. The next cold spell we have, I'm going to put them on in the house and wear them all day until the winter is over. One feature of the boots that I love are the big buttons. They are so easy for my fingers to work with! I love the look of them, too. The other thing I love is the sole. It is solid, but it doesn't clunk loudly on my wood floors like some do. These are really well constructed, and they are cute as can be. I'll update this review if anything changes, but so far I have great hope in these becoming a 10-year favorite.

I buy these MUK LUKS Malena boots every year because I love them so much. They’re incredibly warm, comfortable, and perfect for cold weather. They fit well, are easy to slip on, and keep my feet cozy without feeling bulky. They also hold up great for everyday wear. Stylish, practical, and a repeat purchase for me every winter!!!! They are so light enough that they are easy to pack for trips.

I am definitely a lover of muk luks. I have bought them several times in the past years. Last year I bought the brown ones and this year I got these black ones. I will say that I think the company is making the boots more narrow compared to other muk luks I have gotten in the past and I'm not sure I'm a fan of that. I like the wider foot because I can wear thick socks with them. These, i feel a thick sock might not be as comfortable. I'm naturally a size 8.5 and buy a 9. These 9s are definitely more snug. Hopefully they wear in and loosen up some. Otherwise, great quality, looks great

Another update Ok it’s been a year since I got my second pair. They fell apart in the first few months. The bottom is completely torn up and my feet touch the ground. Now let me explain something I live in Florida. I bought these for Christmas and I’ve worn them just around the house and out only a few few times. There is no reason they should’ve fallen apart like this. My last beer lasted 10 years 10 fricking years. I have tried to contact the company to see what I can use to fix the bottom. I’ve tried so many times but I get nothing from them. I am so frustrated. It has been a big waste of money and the thing that pisses me off the most as I bragged about these to everyone don’t waste your money because this company does not care about you. They won’t even reply to an email. I wasn’t even trying to get my money back. I was asking them. How can I repair these myself? I didn’t attempt to get any money back at all. I just needed a little help from them on what to do because I really like them when I wanted to try to find a way to make it work. I take very good care of my clothing. I literally still have jeans that I wore in high school and I’m in my 40’s 😳 I’m so freaking frustrated because it’s so cold right now so right about now would be perfect for these boots. It’s actually cold here. Hell done froze over and my feet are cold….. I need to take a chance with something else I guess. I hate wasting money. Ugh Update I’m absolutely furious. I haven’t even had these a year and I hardly wear them. I live in Florida so I almost never wear them yet both are completely thrashed. They are basically slippers and soon won’t even be that. These are either knockoffs or the quality has gone down significantly. I’m so upset and hate that I waisted my money. This is my second pair. The first pair Ive had for about 10 years and they finally had enough and ripped. I planed on gluing it and using them as just slippers because they are still so warm but I love my new ones so much that I just keep putting it off. lol. So I think I’ll fix it and donate them, They just need to be cleaned. as long as you take care of them they will last you a long time and I plan on wearing these until they do the same I absolutely love them and so far I have worn them every single day since I got them for Christmas. I live out in the country so it is very easy to get boots dirty and yet They still lasted me this long. Even so I’ve been using my new ones as house shoes only right now and plan on getting a different pair for outside. All for less then one pair of uggs Skip uggs and buy these. You’ll love these.

These boots are very comfortable and warm BUT after only having worn them about 8 times since purchase, the sole of the right boot has detached on the front. Disappointed they only lasted a few wears for the cost. The yarn is also separated on the “big toe” area of both boots exposing the plastic underneath, which was prevalent upon removing them brand new from the box. Not the quality I expected. Now to buy shoe glue.
