May not fit under handguards. Construction seems very solid for the price. I bought it to replace the mock suppressor on my Poseidon Avenger, but it would not fit under the handguard. I tried to mount it on my Krytac CRB and had the same issue. Sadly, I was forced to return it without trying it out.

Buy this so that you know that you want a tracer unit. I have used it for about a month now. Ever time I play with it, I expect it to break. It is well worth the money. Update: I have played several games with this unit. It looks great on my CZ Shadow pistol. It is an outstanding product. Going on two years now, and it still works great. It's now my loaner unit. This unit is extremely bright!! We use green and not red so I cant speak for the brightens of red. We played a night game recently and they were amazing!!! The unit itself feels very sturdy and durable. However it's a bit long for what I was expecting. Still my fav of tracers so far because of the brightness. I have been using this tracer unit for about a year at my local indoor arena. I am throughly impressed. It's durable and fits my airsoft replicas perfectly. It's extremely simple to use with a single on and off button. It runs off of AAA batteries. They last a long time, but when you do run out of juice it's very convenient to swap the batteries in a few minutes instead of charging for a few hours. Another interesting thing I've noticed is that it makes your replica noticeably quieter on the receiving end. Especially if you're inside a warehouse. Of course you need special airsoft BBs and your airsoft gun has to have the threads at the end of the barrel. It works great. We had the smaller version of this and lost it. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this again, well worth it.

Works great. Batteries last quite a long time. Best to use Ace tech tracer bb's (green only). I have tried a bunch of other brands and non are as bright as the Acetechs.
