I need to preface this review by saying I'm a true novice at pickleball and just learning the game. However, given that this is clearly an entry level set, I'm also the target market. I tested it out with my son who has a reasonable amount of experience with the game to gain his insights as well. The paddles in the set are decent looking and seem quite durable. If you were going to play with energetic younger kids, I think they'd hold up well. The grips have a good feel to them. The paddles are a little heavier than some and that probably would effect players with more experience a little, but isn't likley to matter to most users. The surface of some other paddles is also a little more grippy allowing for more spin and control on shots, however, I had no problem controlling the paddles, getting spin on shots, etc. in even my first minutes with the set. There is nothing about this set that would hold a novice back. The bag that comes with the set is strangely large. I just don't know what they think I would carry in it. The bag could hold 6 more paddles and balls. Bottom line - Is there better paddles on the market? Of course. If I continuing playing, will I eventually replace the paddles? Yes. But the set works very well for learning the game and having fun with family and friends.

This is exactly what I needed for a spare set for when friends and family want to play but don’t have their own paddles. This is an excellent set if you are starting pickle ball but aren’t entirely sure how into it you plan to be. The bag make for easy grab and go and I keep everything in it for storage. Light paddle with comfortable grips. This is just all around set up for the price.

Cheaper price than most other sets which is nice. Got this set for extra paddles so we can all play instead of taking turns. These are slightly heavier than our other paddles but expected since these are wooden. The bag feels flimsy and paper thin not sure how well this bag will hold up but one thing I like about it is it opens wide enough that it is easy to slide everything inside and has room for more. We have only played outside so not sure about the indoor ball, but the outdoor ball works just fine. Grip tape is always nice to have handy just in case. Overall happy with this set, it is a matter of personal preference but I prefer the lighter paddles that we have better but they work the same. These will still get used. Glad to have them.

Just learning pickleball and have used this set a few times now with other beginners. It has worked great for us so far. Receive two paddles, 2 balls (one inside, one outside?), a bag and replacement handle grips. We had a ton of fun, the set worked great, and if it didn't we don't even know better! Really fun game and it's great that all you need can be stored and taken around inside this nice bag. Recommend.

These were the perfect starter pickleball paddles for the wife and me. They are durable, and simple and the kit provides everything you need for your first game of pickleball.
