My boyfriend and I both have occasional wrist issues, so I have been buying a whole range of wrist support devices. Of everything I have tried, these are our favorites. They are in fact so much our favorite that my boyfriend stole mine and I had to buy two more, bringing me to a total of four of these things. They give good range of motion and good stability. The comfort level is about what you make of it. Any wrist brace will get uncomfortable after a few hours. These have the hard plate in them that give them extra durability, but it can also make them feel uncomfortable a little bit faster than ones that don't have them. Overall, the velcro straps are the best part to me. Sometimes when I've been wearing the brace a few hours and start to get uncomfortable, I will either loosen or completely undo the velcro straps. This takes some of the pressure off my skin without completely losing the stability of the brace, and after a few minutes to an hour, I'll redo the velcro once I'm feeling better. Some people complained about a smell. This product, as well as most products made of similar material, come with a smell that dissipates after a day or two. It's not even a terrible smell; it's just the standard plastic-y smell you get from things like backpack inserts, joint braces, keyboard cushions, etc. It is not abnormal, it's not a reason to avoid buying it, and it's not a reason to return it. Unless someone is EXTREMELY sensitive to smell, no one should have any problems with this. The worst part of the brace is the thumb hole. It's a bit tight. It was tight on me, and I have very small hands and thin fingers. When I purchased the second set of braces, I asked my boyfriend if I should get the larger size, since his hands and fingers are quite a bit bigger than mine, but he said the small size fits him fine. While the thumb hole is tight, it loosens up over time, and he said he really didn't mind it. (Fortunately for me, the thumb hole is now stretched out enough from him wearing it that it no longer bothers me, lol) Most important of all, it DOES help our wrists feel better. They are best used for preventing wrist pain by forcing you to keep your wrists straight and develop healthy wrist habits, which cuts down on your chances of developing wrist problems. I don't wear them daily or even monthly. When I start feeling wrist pain, I will wear them for a week or two. If I start feeling better by day 3, for example, I'll still wear them for a few more days to teach my body to keep my wrists straight, because if I stop wearing them the second I stop feeling pain, I'm just going to go back to the old bad habits and end up needing the brace again for an even longer period of time. My boyfriend is very prone to this, and I have to remind him every time to wear the brace for like 3 to 5 days longer than you feel pain because it's worth the results. I'll also wear them if I am doing an abnormal task (like maybe lifting a heavy package) that puts a lot of strain on my wrists to minimize the chances of me getting hurt. In conclusion, 9/10, already did buy it again, three times over. The price value is good, it gives a lot of support and stability, and while all braces are uncomfortable, this one makes it pretty bearable. It also really helps the healing process and teaches me good habits to prevent getting hurt in the first place.

This is my second purchase of this wrist brace and I'm glad they haven't changed the design, my last one I've had for 5 years! My old one still works too! I only thought of getting a new one as the Velcro on my old one is finally starting to wear out. Another reason is as I was looking and comparing with others I noticed some ridiculous bad reviews speaking of an odor. Well, if anything my new one smells vaguely like a cross between new car smell and cotton candy, good not bad! Besides that, IT'S WASHABLE PEOPLE, like when you buy new clothes you wash them first right? You can wash this too if it bothers you! Also, you should learn to wash it anyway, like I said mine lasted 5 years! I literally just washed my old one the other day because of the heat wave got me extra sweaty. It's super easy - barely an inconvenience, hand wash cold as indicated on the care label. I just throw it in a bucket with soapy water (laundry det.) shake it around, let soak an episode length of something, swish it around again and rinse off well with cool water. Hang dry in front of a fan and viola, fresh & like new! Another big plus is it's "low profile" and not like other big bulky ugly medical apparatus ones. Also, it's made environmentally friendly which is a win too. I admit, out of the box it's a bit snug (sm/med) but it's doing it's job of support and will break in over time, and I believe it comes in larger sizes if that's another issue people are having.

Got this to sleep to help with my carpal tunnel. It is comfortable but rigid enough to serve it's purpose. I have a very small wrist (as an adult, petite woman) and based on other reviews thankfully I got the large/ xl. It seems like it would be too small for someone with a larger wrist or forearm. I think the small size would be too small for most adults.

It keeps my wrists nice and stiff which means it’s doing it’s job. Around my thumb the fabric is a bit rough and leaves marks that even caused a sort of rash for a day - but as I’ve worn them it’s gotten better

Decent and a good price. The palm brace fits well into the hand and limits motion effectively. Only con i would say is its a little on the snug side. I'm a solid medium on most everything. I'd say this is a sort of a small medium. Maybe size up if you plan to sleep with it on.

Does the job but it does rub between my thumb and pointer finger if I wear it frequently. It also stinks. I've had it for two weeks and it still stinks. I buckled my daughter in the car yesterday while I was wearing it and she said something smelled like a skunk. It was the brace

I am using this brace for tennis elbow of all things. I have tried elbow braces, but it was brought to my attention that the problem may stem from the tendons and ligaments in my wrist that need stabilizing. The reviews were good on this, so I figured I would try it. So far, so good. But my only genuine complaint is in the thumb hole, there is a pointy seam that rubs my hand raw. Why is there a seam in that particular spot where the most sensitive part of the hand, between thumb and forefinger, goes? Otherwise, the brace seems to do the job that I need it to do.
