This mat has been a game changer for our back door area. I used to use old towels and subpar mats when the pups came in from outside especially after rain or snow that didn't work. The Muddy Mat not only absorbes more but cuts way down on the tracking of dirt and mud into our home. I shake it out about once or twice every few days and it washes perfectly in the washing machine. It does not slip much, if at all and it is so soft, I am considering another one to use as a bath mat. Even our kitty loves to lay on it! The color is beautiful and did not fade in the wash. I have to note however, that it is very thick and absorbent and dries slowly if left on the floor when damp or wet. I recommend hanging over a fence or railing in order to dry properly as to not create mildew on the floor underneath. Overall, an amazing rug and I will probably be ordering more! ... show more

These muddy mats are great. They do pick up a lot from the dogs paws when they come in the house. We did purchase an offbrand and it wasn’t the same. We did return the offbrand and purchased more of the muddy mats. I also purchased two for the bathroom, these mats still soak up the water! these look great and comfortable and soft to walk on. I wasn't sure about this at first. I ordered a fun aqua color, and I second guessed my choice because it did have a bit of a bathroom rug vibe. I got over that quickly! It adds a nice pop of color to my family room, and it works so well! It's thick and cozy, so my dogs love to lounge on it and look out the patio doors. It really traps tons of dirt and dries wet paws - no more slipping on the tile floor! It washes well (just remember to shake it out first!) and dries easily. Advertised to clean muddy paws, but I would give it a 3 star on that aspect. Maybe dogs without hairy paws I'm guessing. I have long haired pups and between groomings their hair grows between those toes. I find that I'm still having to bend over with a towel and wipe, wipe, wipe before letting them run through the house. Editing to add pics of the amount of dirt still left on paws and in my sink after having to rinse them off. The TV add says it removes ALL DIRT, but that's simply not the case. The rug is nice however and it does catch the debris from your feet or paws from outside. Just take it and shake it outside and you can see all the debris fall out from the rug after several days of use. And my cat loves to lay on it too. All that said I think I will still order one for my front room for people shoes at least. They do get a lot of grass clippings and trash, just not muddy paws. ... show more

love this mat come up from basement wipe your feet on the muddy mat no dusty footprints on the floor all in the mat as you can see when you take it out to shake it, works great besides it looks nice and is very soft this is my second one and I will most likely purchase another one

Fantastic rug!!! Does exactly what it said. Stops so much mud from coming into house. I have 2 dogs and frequent muddy ground. Dogs get muddy feet and come into house, wall across mat clean feet. Definitely would recommend!!!
