I ordered this replacement pair that are basically the same except for the soles - they are different. They fit well, are comfortable like the old ones but the soles I would have preferred to be like the old ones. Great boots. I like the height of them, they're just right. The fit is true to size and is wide enough for bulky socks The tread doesn't shed mud like I thought they would. But it wasn't enough of an issue to change my mind. It would be nice if they had a tad bit more cushion, but i can slip an insole in them for a more comfortable fit. This brand is expensive so I waited for them to go on sale. I tried different brands for less money and had to return them due to quality and fit. These are warm boots to wear in snow. They seem to be very durable and well made, and I expect the to last for a long time. They have a little bit of weight to them, but it wasn't a game changer to keep them ... show more

I have tried several different brands of waterproof boots and each had its own downfall. One was too thin while another has little to no arch support and another was overall ill fitting. I spotted these and with the try then free for seven days why not. First they arrived on time and where what I had ordered. Myself, I ordered the same as my shoes size and with a heavy sock they fit so comfortable. I walked around the house a couple of different times to insure they didn't have to be returned. Then it was out to the garden where it had been raining on and off for three days, There was mud, tall wet grass and pavement. On all accounts they performed well, I forgot I had rubber boots on. Conclusion: Well made, comfortable, not to tall and not too short, on and off with easy and, their priced right. I thought these boots were going to be too tight to get my feet into. After a bit of loosening up the newness, I tried to pull them on. The first one took me a bit longer to figure out. Once I gave it a 'go' I got the first one on completely. After catching my breath, I tried the second one. I walked in both boots and felt their support. My toe never touched the tip of the boot. My heels never slipped and the cushioned bottom was a nice touch. The last thing I did was to see how hard it would be to take off. I originally bought these Muck boots for my husband, but I’ve ended up “borrowing” them more than I expected. As a 58-year-old grandmother with two dogs (one of them a rescued sweetheart who still prefers muddy yard adventures), I’m outside a lot — rain, shine, or full-on puddle season. These boots hold up to everything. They’re easy to slip on, completely waterproof, and surprisingly comfortable even after hours of walking the dogs or helping my grandsons explore the backyard.
