I have had a set of Arctic Pro's in the same size for a couple of years now and they we phenomenal, however those are too warm to wear in summer so I ordered these. The arctic pros fit very well with a pair of wool socks. These chore's feel a bit large with thin socks, but I anticipate this getting better over time. Well they're definitely nice looking boots and I sure hope they fit Dad since they're a Christmas present I wont know for a bit. But I'll tell you this ... they are NOT brown. The pair delivered to me are DEFINITELY black. Hoping he likes them anyway.

These are not water proof. Purchased these boots 8 months ago and only wear them in inclement weather. Feet get completely soaked and they are not water proof like the last pair of Muck Boots I had for 10 years.
