This product does the KVM features fine. However as another reviewer pointed out the rails are barely strong enough to support its weight. When the rails are in the rack, they feel light and almost like they bend. To describe it, it's like the rails feel moved le as if they got really hot.     • Not actually 1U, flimsy rails, but it does work.
First off, the KVM and console are pretty OK. But the rack-mount solution leaves a lot to be desired. Most importantly, this will not actually fit in a 1U space. There are several flanges on the bottom of the trays that protrude about 5/8" below the confines of a 1U slot. This means that if, like me, you left a single 1U space below your servers for this unit to fit into, you'd be sorely disappointed, and you'd have to move your servers up a slot. That was fun. Secondly, the "drawable rack" gets pretty swaybacked when opened to fit in a 30"-deep rack. Also, beware of the hidden switch on the KVM unit. I was almost defeated by this, as the manual in the box did not refer to it. I found it by feel and luck, but I also see that it's called out in the images here on Amazon. Frankly, not recommended for all these reasons. But I got it installed and it's doing its job, so I'll keep it and not return it. ... show more

Excellent quality, easy for one person to put together and rack mount, screen is bright and clear, keyboard is responsive, touch pad is sensitive, KVM is quick and I have had zero resolution issues switching from various servers running all different operating systems. There isn't much more I can say about it because it is exactly as advertised which is all you can ask for. ... show more

The video quality is very poor see attached picture I tried this with two servers and three different GPUs two of the three are onboard one server I built myself and the other is a Dell server and the other GPU was a 1050 TI each of these video sources work perfect on other monitors. I also agree with another users post about it not being a true 1u size. Luckily I had a blank 1u filler below that I could grind two spots in to fully close and open this KVM unit. It all also would of been nice to have pull handles to easily grab and deploy this unit with once installed in the rack. ... show more

Only have had it for a week or two, but no issues so far. KVM's in general dont last very long for me, i hope this one breaks the mold.
