I bought these almost a year ago and I use them every single day and they still look brand new. Someone gave a review saying theirs was rusting and the handle changing color, but they obviously DO NOT know how to take care of them. You would never never soak them in water or put in the dishwasher with these beautiful wooden handles. I handwash mine and put away as I use them. I would definitely recommend these!! ... show more

We just got done renovating our kitchen and wanted a nice set of knives that wouldn't break the bank after some research I stumbled across this set and pulled the trigger out of the box they felt great in my hand and over all was pleased with the quality. They are sharp and cut like butter the only issue I've noticed is the handles are starting to dry out from the dishwasher they do appear to be real wood so I ordered some mineral oil to make sure they stay hydrated I will update the review on if that seems to do the trick for the handles! These are a great bargain. The steel is tough enough to handle "mistakes" without chipping, but will still hold an edge decently. These will serve her well until she knows what knives she wants to buy for herself.

Overall the product seems to be great, only time will tell. However, the block that comes with the knives isn't designed properly, or mine is a mfg defect. Two knives barely fit in the block and one doesn't fit unless forced in and at a slight angle, thus the knives will be dulled as they carve into the block when stored as designed. ... show more
