The MSR Habitude 6 Six-Person Family & Group Camping Tent is a large, standing-height tent that’s ideal for camping with kids and groups on river trips, road trips, and outdoor adventures. Built strong to handle camping at established campgrounds as well as in primitive sites, this spacious tent features a high-ceiling and vertical walls that make it easy to stand up to change clothes and navigate piles of gear. The tent is easy to pitch thanks to its hubbed poles, large, color-coded pole clips and simple design. Its durable fabrics, super-sturdy pole frame, and smooth-glide YKK stainless steel zippers stand up to rough use and challenging environments like sand, wind, and rain. The tent’s single giant vestibule allows it to fit in smaller remote camp sites, such as those along river banks on rafting trips, while still providing tons of gear storage outside the tent.     • Very good 6-person tent!
After a lifetime of camping, we found ourselves high in the Rockies with inclement weather coming in - realized that we were no longer as young and resilient as previous, and though the tent we were using was a very (Very) good 3-person backpacking tent, we simply wanted more room and the ability to stand up inside. This was ordered last minute, and arrived quickly, and was used in brisk cloudy/misty/rainy mountain weather for several days. Setup and tear-down were easy and quick. We did have to use extra stakes from another tent to guy out the sides of the fly (I think this is a pretty good idea in any case), and found that the inside remained dry and warm throughout our time. Good sized vestibule, easy pitch, handled wind (probably in the 25-30mph range this trip), enough ventilation, but not too much...It was below freezing at night and mid-50's in the day, to give you an idea of the conditions. Only downside is the vestibule zipper and flap tended to dump a bunch of water into the covered vestibule area when opened wet (if not raining hard, we found it possible to "thump" the flap to remove much of the water and make entry and exit much dryer. Color could be a bit warmer - personal preference, of course... As far as materials, detailing, engineering ... for us it is a five-star product. Thank you MSR ... show more

Easy to set up, great tent. When we set it up to test in the yard it was windy out, and noticed the bottom not appreciating it. Wish it came with a bottom tarp for the price.

After less than 10 nights of regular use, pole connector went inside the pole and can not get it out. Then damaged the rubber rope trying to get the connector out… Filed repair request but they say it will take 12 weeks just to reply… not worth $600. Update: Still no word from MSR. Seems like this issue is pretty common with MSR test as I could find several similar claims on Trust Pilot. Wish I’d known this issue before buying this… should’ve bought North face Wawona 6. ... show more
