They are definitely not bottom end stools. They are pretty sturdy for the price. I really like the brown tops. Fairly comfortable. I was looking forever for stools and found these. So far happy with purchase. Added bonus- the instructions are obviously written by someone who doesn't speak English. You can still follow them and get a laugh while you're putting the stools together ... show more

Arrived quick and extremely well packaged. Took longer to unwrap them then it did to assemble them. Seems to be a good value for the price but like its been said in the other reviews; they feel very fragile especially in regards to the backrests. I wouldn't put faith into leaning back on these stools but for the price and purpose, they look good and easy to adjust. If you need something more "knock-around" durable I'd go with a different design but that comes with a larger price tag. ... show more

Great for my residential use. Probably too light weight cor commercial use but looks great in my house. The upholstery needed to be tacked/stapled down a little better but that was no problem. I ordered another set.

I ordered these chairs to replace the broken hyraulic lift stools I had before. I use these with my standing desk at work. My old stools were adjustable by hydraulic, which was great, until the hydraulics quit working. Once that happened, no matter what, I would always just sink down to the bottom low level of the stool, which was WAAYY too low for my standing desk! When I was looking for replacements, I knew adjustable was a must, but hydraulics was a no-go. I found these gorgeous chairs and ordered them. They arrived within 2 days! They were very easy to put together and the best part is they are fully adjustable with a very wide range of height, but will never "slip" or change unless I unlock the ring and physically spin it up or down. I have had these not quite 2 months now, and as I figured, the padded top was not the best quality (note in the picture how much flatter one seat is than the other). HOWEVER, I was expecting this, and I'm ready for it. Because of the design (which I paid attention to before I purchased) these are going to be very easy to recover the seat AND add matching cover and pad to the back of the chair. I plan on putting in some quality foam and covering them in a really nice upholstery. But even with that one expected short coming, the chairs are definitely a perfect match for what I was looking for! They are light, but feel sturdy and strong because they are all metal frame. Who does that anymore!! Seriously, for the money, these chairs are amazing! Highly recommended to those tired of replacing broken hydraulic stools. ... show more

Although the stools bring a modern vintage look to the room, there are several issues that detract from its overall value. 1. The back plate was extremely difficult to install due to the screws not aligning correctly. This resulted in the need to forcefully beat the screws into alignment with a mallet, which is unacceptable for a product in this price range. 2. Despite their height, the seating space on these stools is not suitable for larger people over 200 lbs. This makes them less versatile and less accommodating to a wider range of users. 3. While the swivel feature is visually appealing, it raises concerns about the stability and support of the stool. This is especially concerning given the potential risk of injury for anyone sitting on an unstable stool. 4. The leather pattern, while looking good in pictures, appears far less realistic in person, detracting from the overall aesthetic value of the product. ... show more

These stools were easy to assemble even though there were no predrilled holes. I am 5’5 140 pounds and could not lean back. The backrest would not support my weight and they lean back far so even if it could support my weight they would not be comfortable. I loved the look and needed a 27” stool. Descriptions says they lower to 27” but that is without the cushion. With the cushion they are 29”. Even if they were 27” I would still be returning them. If you dont need the backrest they would be ok as they can be assembled without the backrest. ... show more
