I recently purchased the MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard, and I have been really impressed with its performance. One of the things that I love about this motherboard is its great set of features for the price. It has a 14+2+1 power stage and a six-layer PCB, which may look less impressive on paper compared to higher-end models, but it has definitely improved my user experience. The integrated I/O shield and screwless M.2 are also great additions that have made the installation process much easier for me. I chose this motherboard over others because of its affordability and the balance it strikes between price and performance. It has fulfilled my needs by providing a feature-rich option at a more affordable price range. The MSI BIOS is easy to use, and I have been able to tweak CPU and RAM settings with ease. I also appreciate the good networking and audio options it offers, as well as its stylish design. In terms of strengths, the MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard offers great value for its price, with a good balance of features and performance. I was looking for a board that wasn't insanely priced but still had the features I was looking for. My last 3 motherboards have been MSI so sticking to what I know, I shopped with them first. This board seems to be the perfect middle ground price/quality wise. I updated the BIOS before I did anything else. The boot times are still a tad bit long but from what I've read, theyre working on that and releasing updates pretty regularly. Tuning the ram also helped it boot a little faster for me. The spot where you plug the CPU cables in is a bit tricky to maneuver if your cables are stiff/thick, but I got it done. After that, every thing has been smooth as could be. There are so many features in the BIOS compared to the AM4 board I just came from. I'm not interested in PCIE5 right now so this board not having that wasn't a big deal. I got this paired up with a 7600x and 6800 xt. The built-in WiFi 6 and Bluetooth are just smooth operators. The bios has options to disable one or the other or both if you'd like. I only use the bluetooth myself. DDR 5 is a tad bit confusing compared to DDR 4 but theres a good amount of info out there on how to tune it; I'm learning. It also looks great. There is no rgb which is exactly what I like. Just solid black and white coloring, I'm a big fan of it. The IO shield is preinstalled and for once there are more USB slots than I can fill(so far). Safe to say, this is another MSI purchase that I am more than happy with and I will continue to come back to them in the future. ... show more

First build, I decided to purchase the MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard and I'm happy with the results. Everything was relatively easy, and one of the reasons I got it was for the price. As someone who needs space for more M.2s, this board has plenty. Even the installation of those are quick and simple. No screws needed. For a first build, this board is definitely affordable and it's very fulfilling on its performance. For a all black build, it makes the design on it perfect for me. If you need to go into BIOS, its very simple and friendly to browse through. You might have to change some settings at least for my particular build, which is what I needed to do, but other than that, very simple for the average user. Overall, if you need a board that's very well balanced and has a good price, I'd go with this board. Very happy with my purchase, and would recommend! ... show more

This mobo has everything youll ever need. Stability is great, performance is good as well. Bios is easy to navigate and is easy to update. This motherboard has good cooling performance. I will say the reason why its 4 stars and not 5 stars is because of 2 things. 1. When you have an NVME SSD in the first slot closest to the CPU (and is the fastest slot of all the 3 slots), your GPU will no longer get 16x pcie access. 2. The MSI armory crate software when you setup your PC is buggy. Its very convenient as it get all your drivers installed so your not going to MSI support page for this mobo to install each drive one by one. I find the MSI installer that pops up after new install causing more problems for your PC that it fixes. Besides that this is a solid motherboard for the price. ... show more

I choose this motherboard first because of its slick black design fitting in with the aesthetic of my build. My favorite aspects of the motherboard are its helpful manual and QuickStart guide, the m.2 screws making it easy to install the drive, and its helpful leds helping me diagnose what could be wrong with my system. I needed an AMD 5 motherboard and it delivered them beyond my expectations. I especially enjoyed the search feature in the bios helping me finding setting I needed to tweak to get my pc up and running. In addition, MSI's center software for its motherboard was very helpful for installing all the drivers making it easier on me for getting the pc up and working. The only kink of the board are its placement of usb 3.0 port where it made it awkward to fit in my system but mostly was the issue with the case and not the motherboard.
