Quality curtains for the price. I purchased 3 pairs, natural color, for our primary bedroom and we absolutely love them. The fabric is ‘linen look’ and are very wrinkled put of the packages. The backing is white, more of a “rubbery” type material, instead of fabric feel, but nothing similar to a shower curtain (As another reviewer commented) and, yes, total blackout. If you don’t want light coming around the sides use blackout curtain rods which hug the window/wall much closer. I steam ironed on low, until tired of ironing then used my hand held steamer which seemed to work better, both methods time consuming! I hung using provided clips and purchased rings to attach clip to. I’m very impressed with these. Plan to order another pair for my dining room!

4 stars for the product.. -4 stars for the packaging.. these were SO wrinkled when I was finally able to get them out of the plastic bag ( like a gallon sized baggie). It took me 49 minutes to iron the one panel and the packaging wrinkles were still visible… embedded! And there was an odor to these. So I rinsed them hoping to also rinse away some wrinkles and aid / reduce time needed to iron. Eureka!’ They still needed to be ironed.. but now it was a lot faster…and the odor is gone. PLEASE— change the packaging!! Another positive: These come with the long pinch-pleat hooks — plastic, but they do the trick. Fabric reads: 90% polyester 10% linen. So if you are looking for “linen” ( that was a search word for me -it’s not exactly what you get.; however, they do look like linen.. These are nicely made. Good luck in your search!

I wanted to give these curtains four stars, but couldn't justify it. They're simply a whole lot better than I expected them to be. I had wanted to order the light beige, because the natural looked unnatural to me on the website, but it wasn't available. When the "Natural" panels got here and were hung up, I realized the subtle pattern doesn't actually show. I was also surprised at how heavy they are. I expected the fabric to be sheerer, like so many of these less expensive curtains are when portrayed as "black out" curtains. But this fabric is substantial in weight, as is the lining, and yes, they are definitely black out curtains. And even though they're listed as 42" wide, that measurement must include the folds of the pleated fabric because they certainly look and hang a lot wider than 42 inch curtains. In fact if you doubled up on these, using two pair per window, you'd look like you'd paid hundreds, if not a thousand or more dollars for them. So I can't help but admit these are very nice curtains for the money, and that you're getting more than you'd normally get at this price point. The only negative I can come up with is that I didn't receive the packs of hooks that are shown in the listing, but that was a packing error, not the fault of the curtains themselves. The photos I'm including are from a house I'm starting to renovate. I took down some way-too-short curtains left by the previous owner and haven't raised the rods yet, but I wanted to test them out to see how long they in a room that has very high ceilings. You can see there's plenty of room to spare with the 120" length.

When I first received these curtains, the first thing I noticed was the heavy weight. When I opened them, of course there were wrinkles, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they fell out naturally when they were hung up, so there was really no need to steam the wrinkles out -- a definite plus! I used my own hooks, but I love the fact that they come with the loops AND a bag of hangars, so you have hanging options and don't need to buy any additional hardware. I really like the color of these, and the fact that they look like linen. The backing is definitely thick enough to block out the light even though it's white. I didn't notice any issues with the stitching, so the quality seems very good. I could say more, but honestly the pictures speak for themselves. I will need to work to wrap the curtains around the sides to achieve more blackout, but that isn't any fault of the product. I rated 5 stars, but would consider them more like 4.7 since it would be better if they were about 50" instead of 48".
