    • Nice controls, small diameter.
First off being it's the cheapest out of the bunch at $145.00, for $125 more you can upgrade the size to 13" with a wheel mod. After using the small 12" for a couple weeks I'm thinking the wheel is too small for an r9. The small rim is hard rubber/ plastic with rough ridges where the rubber mold meets. The feel to the touch reminds me of a cheap economy 80's car wrapped around what feels like a metal skeleton so it's not floppy which is great for function. It is very solidly built, the button set and paddle shifters (which you are really paying for) are top quality. Biggest problem on an r9 at full feedback it's so small it can rip the wheel out of your hands if you are not really hanging on tight. That and the smaller than irl size makes it feel like a power wheel rather than car simulator but will get you started and it's still cheaper with adding a 13" wheel mod than the other larger offerings. ... show more
