Looks similar to other higher priced mouse traps, so purchased in hopes that it would work. The lid was on tight in a deep bucket, and all there was in the morning was a giant pile of mouse poop. The bait was gone. I did notice that you have to apply more weight to trip the door so anything lighter than a few ounces will not fall through. 2 sides of cheese missing so I could not use 1 of the cheese tops but the trap door still works anyway so I didnt try to return it. 1 tab to secure to bucket was broken upon removal from package but I am using it anyway.
