I bought this for a 49” Odyssey G9 curved monitor. You basically have to torque the two large hex bolts with gorilla strength to prevent the monitor from sagging forward. You also have to compensate for some droop with trial and error on setting the vertical tilt which is finicky. I don’t like moving the monitor around after installation because it feels like it’s barely holding the weight and moving it might make the monitor tilt all the way forward. To the reviewer that states they got it to work with a Samsung G9 49”, they probably can’t say that it works “well”, because I sort of wish the monitor is better supported and not maxing out its limits. Though it does support it and saves me a lot of desk space so I’ll keep it and maybe devise some sort of insert to fix the vertical tilt setting.

I bought this to hold my 49 inch Samsung G9 monitor. It is listed as 33 lbs. I read some reviews of this and other arms and the biggest complain was that it couldn't hold the monitor tilt. The monitor would just sag and point downwards. Well I can say that this is indeed holding it. I took a couple photos so you could see. A couple suggestions. You definitely have to tighten the arm lift screw a bunch of times. It says in the manual how many times, it was something like 20 turns. Eventually it does hold it nicely and I can move the monitor around freely. As for the monitor tilt. I would recommend adjusting that before putting the monitor on since it is so heavy. I put it at the upper most tilt I can possibly do with the mount, so the monitor would be pointing at the ceiling. I then tightened it as much as I possibly could. Once I did that, I put the monitor on and it holds it perfectly level. I also took advantage of the cable management and the USB port routing. I put a usb extension cable in the headphone slot so I could pull it out and extend it as needed. It is working awesome. It's such a nice clean setup. I couldn't ask for anything more.

The arm works, but it’s not as sturdy as I hoped that it would be. Easy to put together though, and options are limited for large monitors. I would have expected an item like this to support a VESA larger than 100x100, but you can use a VESA converter to make this work for larger sizes.

Took a swing with this to mount a 48" Asus OLED that clocks in at 33lbs. Because it's a 300x300 pattern, I bought some extenders as well. No issues at all. There is lots of desk clearance, and it moves around with ease. Very well made product.

Great mount! Holds the weight well with my 24" all in one PC. I forgot my desk had a metal bar on this portion but the flat clamp design holds well, no issues.
