Originally bought this just to mount my TV to the wall, which it worked great for. What gives it 5 stars is how easy it was to integrate a separate soundbar mount when I upgraded my stereo. There are so many holes and threads in the mounting bars, it was absolutely NO issue to get the soundbar added to the set up and the tv back on the wall in less than an hour. The TV is a 42 inch. It holds that perfectly but I’d be reluctant to go bigger than 45 with this mount, as it’s designed to only be secured into one stud. But with the way TVs have rapidly decreased in weight, you could probably get away with 50in if you’re not adjusting it all the time. ... show more

I am really impressed with this mount. This mount is very solid, easy to position, and easy to install. I bought my tv at Costco and priced the TV wall mounts there were 90.00 dollars. I bought 2 of these TV wall mounts and am VERY HAPPY with them. Installation was easy. I was leery about a mount that would swing outward from the was as much as these are capable of. Was pretty easy to install, helped that my Samsung didn't need the extra wings. They also had several different sizes of screws and spacers. They worked on my Samsung! Bolts went in perfect, make sure you do the pre drill according to instructions. They include a little wrench, but if you have a socket set that fits on a drill, I would suggest using that to put the bolts in. The TV was easy to hook on the bracket with 2 people. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the last step of putting 2 screws into the leveling bracket was a real booger! The bracket slightly covers the wholes for the screws so it was really tricky getting them in, suggest using 2 people cause you have to line it up perfect to get screws in.
