This mount worked fine to install a 42" television to the wall. I highly recommend that if installing onto a drywall wall, to screw directly into the wall studs. Use a stud finder to find the stud, check and recheck to confirm the two corners of the stud then find the center point. Once you locate the center of the first stud, measure down the distance of the mounting holes and use a level to follow the stud, then confirm the center point of the stud at the third mounting hole, again with the stud finder. The reason for this is that you will want to install the screws as close to the center of the stud as possible to ensure a solid mounting. Once the top and bottom mounting holes are matched to the stud, the center hole is obvious. Drill a pilot hole before installing the screws to make inserting the screws easier. Preferred to first use a thin drill bit, then use a second size that is slightly thinner than the thickness of the screw. Once the holes are drilled, the screws will go in easier. I recommend using a ratchet for the screws and before the final tightening, ensure that the mount is level. Installing the remainder of the mount to the tv then onto the mount is straightforward. Once completed, the mount is solid and will not come off the wall. Personally, I don't recommend installing this type of mount onto the actual drywall. Anyway, good sold mount when installed properly and will do it's job just fine.

I installed this for my 52 inch outdoor TV on my brick walled patio. The instructions were clear enough. Installation, now that's another story. The anchors went into the brick at just the wrong spot, catching part of any interior hole in the brick. It took me some significant effort to get this screwed in and secured to my satisfaction. The screws may not be in exactly straight, but they are all in enough that the bracket could probably support my weight of 200+lbs. That wasn't/isn't really the manufacturer's fault though. The whole installation can be done with one person, assuming you are strong enough to pick up the TV alone, but it's definitely easier to have another person hold up some things for a few parts of the installation. Great range of motion on the bracket.

I bought 2 of these and I LOVED them. Easy to set up/install. Except for one of them 1 screw was missing the one that hold the tv after it's put up on the handle or whatever so my tv is kinda crooked since I'm missing that very important screw that's why I'm giving it a 4 star to one of them the other one was perfect. Will buy again in the future if I ever need one but please make sure to pack all screws they are very important. I mean who wants to go to the store and buy a screw when it was supposed to come with the product.

Excellent for the price. All parts were in the box. Box arrived 3 days early so shipping was immediate which i was so happy about. Installation beat me up. I live in a old house from1963 & the studs are hard as rocks. I pre drilled for the lag bolts & had a hard time getting them all the way in. I finally used a crescent wrench to get them all the way in the so now they are stripped the top one is still out about 1/4 inch but its in the stud & sturdy. Instead of lag bolts it would have been easier with regular Phillips screwdriver bolts to use an electric screwdriver. This is the 2nd mount I’ve installed that had this kind of bolt. Part of it is my house studs being so hard they dont make wood like that anymore, so lucky me..lol Thankfully this fit my needs it extends, rotates & tilts. Overall an easy install. I’d recommend it. I’m extremely happy with it. I installed a 50 inch tv…

While there are SO many tv mounts that you can use and install in a camper, I chose this one for one reason. This mount gives you the option to just set the tv on the bracket and not have it fastened to the arm. I plan on disconnecting my tv every time before I pull my camper down the road. I know that there are mounts that are camper/rv specific and they lock in place but I don't like an object hanging on the wall and bouncing around like there's an earthquake. This mount also had very good reviews which also influenced my decision to buy this. If you are installing this in a Coleman 17B, use the stud closest to the front shelf. I pre-drilled the hole into the stud and used (3) 5/16" x 1" lag bolts to secure it to the wall. This mount is VERY solid and does not feel flimsy in any way.

This product is totally sturdy and has a great range of motion. The price is affordable too. I loved the first one I bought so much, I just bought a second one! The box it comes in is compact, but heavy. It is not difficult to install either. Highly recommend!
