    • Lag bolted to framing, very solid solution.
This has a sensible solution for supporting the cantilevered weight of the monitor, the top centerline of the mount takes two long lag bolts and the bottom takes one more to make sure that the mount doesn't tend to swing even when the monitor is off to the side. I have mounted a 32" screen on this and the springing of the arm is perfect for allowing it to be moved up and down. The bearing that allows the arm to articulate is relatively large. The mounting plate for the monitor is detached and easy to mount to the screen, so you don't have to hold the screen in one hand while inserting screws with the other. Once the plate is mounted it's easy to slide onto the end of the arm and secure with a thumb screw. As usual on this type of inexpensive stand the friction bolt that keeps the monitor from rotating down under its own weight is hard to tighten adequately. But it is possible. In the end it's a thoroughly adequate solution for mounting a 32" monitor to a wall. ... show more

This is a great mount for a monitor. Install was easy and it came with all the supplies. I’m impressed with the amount of swing and stability. It does not seem to have a fine tuning for left to right, but it works great. I’m really happy with the mount and the cost was amazing.

it's great and sturdy easy to put together easy to install, well worth the money! my only note is that it does not lower the TV past the place where it's fastened to the wall so if you want something to move your TV up that's great, but if you want something move your TV down make sure you put it at the lowest point you will want your monitor to be, because it will raise but not lower. ... show more

For reference I am using this with a Gigabyte M27Q-P 27 Inch monitor which weighs 11 pounds. The spring tension is capable of holding the weight, however this adjustment for monitor tilt is almost useless. You can set it tilted a few degrees up and tighten the life out of that Allen bolt and in about 2 days the monitor will end up tilted down without even touching it. This part is plastic and can only be tightened so much.Aside from that because of its plastuc construction, it is very flexible when repositioning a monitor and I certainly would not trust this with my monitor long term. IF you like your monitor and want it to stay put buy a better arm, especially if you do plan to adjust its height/position frequently. ... show more

I almost returned this mount because while I was trying to loosen the tension by turning to the left it never got loose enough to let my monitor move up and down. This is not righty tighty, left loosey. It is clearly stated on the plastic cover, which I did not have on while adjusting the tension. I only noticed this when I was boxing it up to be returned. It is also clearly stated in the directions. My bad! Now it works great and is easy to move around. Would definitely buy another if needed.
