Please note: While this item is sold as ONLY supporting ONE monitor swing arm mount, I decided to upgrade it to TWO swing arms. I describe what I did below. Be aware, if you do this sort of modification of adding a second swing arm and something goes wrong, neither MOUNTUP nor myself can be held liable as this is a decision you WILL make on your own. I had bought the SHORT single arm monitor mount (MOUNTUP Single Laptop Desk Mount with Tray for 13-27 Inch Computer Screen, Adjustable Laptop Desk Arm for Laptop Notebook up to 17’’, Weight up to 19.8 lbs, Grommet/Clamp on Laptop Stand MU4001) a little while back for a single 27" monitor I was using at the time. I now found I needed (well actually wanted) to put two 27" monitors in place of the single one. MOUNTUP does not sell a version of the tall dual monitor mount which is very disappointing as the tall mounting post from this purchase appears it should be able to handle two swing arm monitor mounts easily. The support post is very robust and once mounted (I used the through the desk top hole method versus the clamp-on method). Once installed, it was extremely solid, and I saw no reason that it could not support an additional arm, so I added the single arm from my original MOUNTUP short post configuration to the new TALL post configuration. AS you can see in the photo, the two 27" Samsung curved displays ride at ease on the tall mounting post with no wobble or undue movement and I can easily swing them if required (need to swing the upper one to reach the menu button on back). I picked up two of these to experiment with monitor setups on my new standing desk. They're not great, but if you have a smaller monitor they'll be fine. The monitor vertical roll can't be tightened down and is easy to bump out of straight and level. Cannot quite get it exactly where I want becuse the hinges stop out. I will be getting a little more sturdy solution soon, they served their purpose. But hey, for $20 give it a try. ... show more

I have been using this for a little over a week with a 32" ONN TV ,and so far there has been no sag on the arm & everything seems to be well put together & sturdy. Assembly was simple with the supplied tools. The only issue I had was the screws that were supplied with it were to small for my TV. I have two monitors, But I wanted more freedom than a dual monitor mount allows. I upgraded from a dual to two of these. Each hold 25” monitors (one alienware 240hz, one acer 60hz). My main monitor mount has remained in perfect condition, however my secondary monitor mount seems to be barely standing. They are each mounted the exact same way. The integrity and structure of the main one is incredible, however the other mount makes me question their quality control. This mount does still work and it offers so much variety in position of monitor, however I do fear it will give out very soon and I haven’t had it for long. This mount is incredibly easy to assemble and has great range of motion. My only issue is the vertical swivel (z-axis) mechanism is a little more loose than I'd like it to be. Other than that, you can't really go wrong with this mount for a single monitor. The joints all tighten well to keep unwanted movement and if I shake my desk, the monitor barely moves at all. ... show more

This is a very sturdy mount, and long-term it will be great. The clamp for the desk is very secure. However, I am giving it two stars for assembly. The reason is that I found it to be impossible to get the extension arm tight enough on the pole, and the tilt angle on the monitor to stay put. You just can't hand-tighten those bolts enough--and even my power screwdriver couldn't do it. Finally, I wrapped some black electrical tape around the pole and that made it "sticky" enough to hold the arm in place. I also took the joint that tilts the monitor apart and added some small pieces of electrical tape to the washers. After that, I could get it tight enough to hold the monitor in place. Thought I would share that tip. The manufacturer should include rubber washers instead of slippery metal ones, then this would not be a problem! ... show more

**Update** I was able to speak with their support. They responded quickly and we are able to come up with a solution that I was very satisfied with. I ended up with the MU0001 which worked perfectly. I don't know why the first stand didn't work but I can't say enough about MOUNTUP's customer service. I bought this monitor arm/mount hoping to get my home monitor up and off my desk just clear up some room and everything went together well but when I mount my monitor it just drops. I’ll tighten the tilt adjustment down as tight as it can get and it does not hold up my monitor. The description says it holds of the 19 pounds my monitor is 14 and some change so either I got a faulty monitor mount or their advertisements off ... show more

I've used similar type monitor stands in an office setting so I knew what to expect with range of motion and assembly, and this stand was no different. But what I like about it there is more than one way to mount it. I bought it for the clamp because this is not attached to a desk, but instead to a 16 space rack case for musical gear. I wanted to have my monitor to swivel between my mixer and my synth so it was easily visible as opposed to being on a desk a few feet away. The rack case is not as thick as a desk, but this stand still mounted easily and is very sturdy even fully extended with my monitor attached. ... show more
