The box was short, that shocked me. When I opened it, the base looked about half as long as I expected. Needless to say I was ready to pitch a fit! But, the base is a two piece unit, and the other half wa hidden in the packaging. It bolted together well, and when anchored to the wall, it is very sturdy. The spacing between the top and bottom of the base is wide enough to span a duplex receptical and cover. Thumbs Up. Mounting hardware for base and Vesa mounting was adequate. Thumbs Up. The extendable brackets operate like a scissor lift. One can be extended while the other is compressed to allow left to right angle. Up and down angle adjustment was good. The spring latches for bottom connection to base was easy and appreciated. Thumbs Up. Did not see away to "lock" extension in place. But there feels like enough drag to hold in place.     • Tons of stability AND flexibility.
I wanted a wall mount for my TV that would allow me to both angle and extend it downwards or straight out depending on where in the room I was sitting at the time. This mount makes it super easy for me to adjust the angle on the fly. Even better, the mount is long enough that, despite the studs on my wall not being centered with where I sit, I can still center the TV on the wall. Plus, if I needed to adjust where the TV ought to be placed on the wall, I could simply pull or push on the sides, allowing the mount to move along the rail, which is nicely secured in place using their lock and release straps. Everything about this mount is super convenient. The installation of the TV brackets was super simple, the mounting on the wall was also clear and easy (though I recommend using a ratchet for efficiency), it comes with a wall template for installation (which I didn't need to use, but it's nice that they included it), and the flexibility it allows you for tilting/angling and extending the TV out is amazing. This came very quick and at a good price which was great. The sizing of the wall bracket though is spaced so it only hits on stud. At least in my building (which is standard). Made it tricky and I had to mount off center and shift the TV over to one side of it. There is also no locking mechanism on the side to make sure it doesn’t slide all the way off. Also the clips on the bottom make it hard to remove. You have to keep the locks engaged and pull up on the TV at the same time. Definitely hard to do on a 65 inch Tv ... show more

While this mount did provide what I needed, it has a slight flaw. If you are buying it for a BIG tv, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. The base plate comes in two pieces, and the metal is a bit thin. Once hung, my 85” tv cause the base plate to slightly bend away from the wall. If I had access to another stud, I could have secured it with another anchor, but that wasn’t an option. Mounted a 60” Samsung and attached sound bar. Directions were good and installation went smoothly. I have 15” stud centers. However to center the mount on the wall I had to be creative. I put the extensions only on one side and used this to effectively move the mount about 4” more to the right. I felt comfortable with this. Easy to install, came with all the hardware. You must bolt these into the wall studs, borrow a good one from a friend or family or purchase a decent one. You don't want your TV falling off. Once you get the exact location of the wall studs, it's very easy to install.

The instructions were very straightforward but as extra measures I used 7 wall bolts in total, as opposed to the 4 included in the packaging. Would buy again!

I originally bought my first mount for a smaller tv a few years ago and have used it in multiple rentals. I finally bought a second one because we needed the one for an 86" tv so I decided to go back to my trusty "Mounting Dream" mount and I will continue to do so. These mounts come with easy instructions plus a small level on the mounting guide. This time when our tv was delivered by GeekSquad they just installed it for us but in the past I've had no trouble mounting myself as well as uninstalling when I've moved out of my rentals.
