  • The best wall mount on the market
When I bought it I all of a sudden realized that I had only one stud behind my tv running right down the middle. So I couldn't attach the frame to the wall by its 4 corners. I took a chance and mounted the 55" samsung with only 2 lag bolts in the center. It works like that also. The bolts are extremely stout, the product screams quality. Would recommend to anyone. ... show more

  • It the bracket you need.
If your doing a quick home install and aesthetics aren't the main focus... this is the bracket. It quite adjustable and offers plenty of movement. And it is sturdy. Super sturdy. Probably the only gripe is that it does not sit super flush to the wall. We placed the TV about 4'6" from the floor and the top the TV is 9" away from the wall slightly forward tilted for non-glared viewing. It doesn't bother us but again, it is not super flush mounted. All in all its the best value for the money we could find. ... show more

  • Holds 65 inches solid as a vault
I put an immense Sony X90J on this. It has a great range of motion and is easy to both mount and level. Pre-drill the lag screw holes a bit deeper than the screws, then use a regular drill (not an impact weapon!) to run them in. Once on the wall, I broke rules and checked it with my body weight briefly. Held 200+ lbs with nary a creak! Just don't do what Geek Skwad did and mount it to a guy's sewer pipe (Reddit has the evidence.) ... show more

  • This is the one, really. : )
If you've been looking, I'll tell you now, this is the one. We had the earlier version of this one a few years ago, and it was great, but I did have to resort to adding a few dimes to get it just perfect on leveling. No need for that here. PROS: - Super sturdy & strong - Extension bar allows offset installation, if studs aren't centered. - Pivots sideways - both ways - Tilts up and down - Pulls way out from the wall when you need to access the rear, but pushes back to very close to the wall when you want it out of the way. Cons: A little scary to install, if you've never done this before. I've done a few of these over the years, & THIS is the one. I'd buy this one again without hesitation. FYI: These always look very scary to start, but once you realize that half the hardware is for other options, it's a lot less scary (they give you all the hardware you need for installing in multiple ways, and with multiple TV setups. You will have a lot of hardware left over.). Basically, it has two brackets. One mounts to studs in the wall, & the second to the back of your TV - separately, so you can lift it up onto the wall bracket like hanging a picture. Simple as that. You just have to find your studs, drill the right size holes - in the * Right Location *, and mount it. You can do it alone, but to lift it up to the wall mount, you'll want help from a friend. Pretty hard to do that part alone, just due to not seeing the back while you lift it solo. Even a weak friend or child can tell you where to move it, if you don't have real help on the lifting part. TV's are surprisingly light nowadays, so even a teenage girl could lift half. They even give you an extension bar, so if your studs don't align with your placement goals, you can fudge it over quite a bit. Worked great for me. IMPORTANT TIP: Measure the area where you want the TV. We used Painter's tape to outline the spot, with our table located beneath it, so we had a visual on how big everything was going to be. THEN be sure to MEASURE where the bracket needs to mount, to be sure your TV ends up where it needs to be. In our case, the studs & the TV mount were not dead center, so we mounted the TV bracket onto the back of the TV, then had to figure out where the wall mount needed to be, and lowered the wall bracket enough to account for the lower mounting our Sony TV used, vs another brand. With the tape outline, we easily found the 2 best studs for mounting, even though they were also not centered. We chose the two closest to the centerline. (We had 3 stud choices, if one didn't work out. Huge TV) Be sure of placement, before you drill those big holes in your studs. You don't want to do that twice. It's easier than it sounds, so Good luck! : ) ... show more

  • Nice TV mount
Review for: Mounting Dream TV mount MD2296-24K Purchased: Dec 2022 The first thing I want to say is the instructions for this were fantastic and precise. It also included a cardboard overlay for the wall where you trace out where the lag bolts will be screwed into your studs. It matched the spacing on the actual metal bracket. I purchased this for our Samsung 65" QLED. The brackets which mount to the TV were at their very end points and the Vesa couldn't have been longer or it wouldn't have fit. The screws, washers etc which came with it fit my TV perfect. All parts were numbered and in individual packets corresponding to the directions. Once the TV was mounted the bracket held the tv without any sag. I do think the center arms needed to be about 3 inches longer to allow for left to right movement without the TV touching the wall as easily. It said the original price was $99. With the discount before taxes it was $63. Worth it in my opinion at the discounted price. I definitely wouldn't have paid $99. ... show more

  • Does the job
Installed a 65" Sony 9 series on this and it fits perfectly. I used online tips for finding the 2x4s. I have an electronic stud finder and an old reliable magnet stud finder. Once the 2x4 was located I used a very small nail to find the exact center of the 2x4. I always use blue tape and refrain from marking on the wall. One tip I will pass along. Most recommend 42" viewing center for the TV. This defeats the purpose of hanging it however as that was the height it was on the stand. I put mine at 55" center from the floor. I still have 4" I can lower on the brackets, but my wife and I found this height perfect as I can tip the TV a few degrees down. I didn't remove the TV stand until it was on the wall. Made no sense to lay the TV on its face, remove the stand, flip it back over and then hang it. My wife assisted me and we hung it easily. I then removed the TV stand. I used wall channel from Amazon to hide the wires as the TV hangs on a wall that faces outside. I did not wany to disturb any insulation. It looks great and have gotten several compliments. ... show more
