I bought the Mount-It! Premium Cup Holder Tablet Mount for my iPad in my work truck, and I’ve been really happy with it. I’ve tried a few different mounts before, but this one has been the most stable by far. Once it’s tightened into the cupholder, it stays put—no shaking, no bouncing around, and no slowly shifting out of position while I’m driving on rough jobsite roads. The adjustable base fits my truck’s cupholder perfectly, and the arm gives me a good range of motion so I can angle the iPad exactly where I need it. Whether I’m checking plans, work orders, or maps, the screen stays steady and easy to see. The clamp holds the iPad securely without scratching it, and it feels a lot sturdier than some of the cheaper mounts I’ve tried in the past. This is a very very expensive tablet stand. This is because it is a high-performance product built of solid aluminum. The build quality is off the charts; the use of teeth to lock things in place makes it incredibly stable. There is no wobble in the stand itself, no matter what I've done; just be sure whatever you attach it to is likewise up to snuff. (The cup holder fits perfectly, but my old car's cup holder was slightly wobbly in the face of a rock solid lever arm.) It's also, honestly, more adjustable than any other stand I've used; in many other stands, there's positions I was scared of using because I could not trust that things would be held securely in them. This is secure in any position. In all, this is beyond excellent. My only request would be for more middle-sections. ... show more

Worked great for my oversized iPad Pro, super stable and configurable. Highly recommend getting a cell data iPad though not running it off of your phones hot spot, as this mount took a back seat simply because of connection issues. Works great though. What a waste of time. How do I recieve a used item with missing parts more then half the parts are gone and package has oil spilled all over it. This was a $80 plus purchase! UPDATE! Costumer service was great! Sent that used missing parts product back and they sent me a new one. Product is perfect. Its super sturdy u will break cup holder before this breaks! They need better return procedures so they dont send used products to a new purchase Costumer. Product is a 5 star but my time is valuable to me so upgraded to 4 stars ... show more

I use this very effectively with my iPad Pro. It only holds on three sides... two sides on the narrow and one on the long side. However, they include these rubber feet and they hold the iPad incredibly well. With the iPad holding on a 6 hour trip... it didn't budge even a millimeter. It's solid. And the fact it's made out of metal... most importantly, the iPad doesn't wiggle and shake... holds very firm. This is in essence, a great holder for my tablet. It is extremely well built and very very strong. The all metal arm construction is well designed and works perfectly. I can easily mount my iPad Mini for viewing, and it is so versatile in it adjustments, that I can find a variety of angles of viewing for different circumstances. However, there is one issue that leads me to rate it with 3 stars. The mount is so heavy, that the cup holder in my pick-up truck is literally under so much stress, from all of the weight that I fear it will crack and break when driving on bad roads. My wife likes to use it watching TV/Movies while on trips. Adding the weight of my iPad Mini to it brings it to the point of use only when parked. My wife is not happy, and I have to look for a new mount now. All in all, I find this mount to be its own enemy. The quality is terrific, the design is awesome, it is easy to use and install, but that comes at a price when it is too heavy. Newer vehicles are being made from thinner and weaker materials to save weight, and the cup holders are getting weaker. They are not designed to handle weights like this. The mount is a great value for the price, and it is superb quality. I have to give it 3 stars for the very high weight. ... show more

Well, I was kind of apprehensive about - butturns old i am extremely pleased with the end results -it snug in the cup holder. I have a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica it holds my 11 inch iPad Pro just fine. well worth the money in my opinion

    • Cupholder is poor design - doesn't expand enough

The cupholder does not expand large enough to fit tightly. The cupholder expands to approximately the size of a soda can and most vehicles have larger cupholders. I have two vehicles, a Subaru and a Kia and it did not expand enough to hold tight in either vehicle. The rest of the product is well built but the most important and critical part is the expanding holder, which in this case is the products greatest flaw. You can make it fit tight by adding foam/material to your vehicle but you shouldn't have to mess with a holder that cost $80. The holder has a lip on the top and is also tapered from top to bottom so if you place it all the way in until touches the bottom of the vehicles cupholder, when you expand it only the top lip which is approximately 1/8 inch wide makes contact with the vehicle and the rest of it just sits loosely in the vehicles cupholder.
