I would have liked to have given this product 5 stars but unfortunately I can not due to the screws supplied for mounting. It seems that some monitors and TV's do not have deep screw holes in the back of them where the VESA plate mounts. I had to take 4 of the screws that mount the arms to the 100 x 100 VESA plate and use them to screw into the back of the TV's. The 4 thumb screws that were supplied I had to use with the nuts from the smaller screws to mount the 4 arms to make the VESA into 200 x 100 VESA. If the product would have come with 8 small screws, washers and nuts, overall I would have given this a 5 STAR rating. I have and would recommend this product to others; however telling them that they may have to improvise and put some of the screws where they should not be to use screws to make the VESA be able to mount.

I purchased the Mount-It Monitor Desk Mount with 200x100 bolt pattern to mount a 27" monitor above my computer desk. I chose this mount based on other reviews, my need to easily swivel and adjust the closeness of the monitor and to fit the bolt pattern. The monitor is very sturdy and provides good support for the 18 pound monitor. I first clamped it to the edge of the desk but then moved it to a cable hole opening in the desk. The overhang on my desk was a little narrow and did not fully cover the clamp. It would probably work fine but the hole mount was more stable. The directions were adequate, assembly was smooth and with the easy mount feature, I did not need help to placing the monitor. Mount-It could take a tip from another company and print the type of bolts/nuts, etc on the plastic packaging. There are several parts that are similar and it would be easier to have them identified on the package. I'm very satisfied with the quality and value.

This TV or screen mount is fantastic and it bolts right away to the TCL 32 in Smart TV. I have it hooked up on my hospital bed and I had to modify it just a little to where I used the 2 right angle steel plates to make a vice to clamp it to the foot board of my bed and now I'm watching the TV in a great way ,,,,

Pole not tall enough for 200x200 vesa mounting for 43” 4k tv being used as a monitor. Luckily I had a taller pole already. The 200x200 appears to be an afterthought for the manufacturer

I found that it is great for standard monitors. It will carry a 42 inch but best if tightened and locked to a permanent position. I needed to rotate it horizontally daily so I removed one of the two extension arms and through bolted it to the desk instead of using the edge clamp. Only surprise was that the vertical "portrait" rotation axis will not lock like the rest of the hinges but it still works for me!
