The media could not be loaded. Installed on covered patio and thrilled with the turnout. About 1 minute to raise or lower. Uses a nylon strap attached to the motor to raise and lower the TV. Not noisy by any means but, when it's quiet, you can hear it. Very stable mount as well. Mounted in single stud for my application and a 43inch tv. Only gripe is with figuring out the specific way to setup the mount on the TV for this specific TV. I needed to use only 2 of the vesa arms and a combination of the included spacers to make it work but, wasn't hard to get together. Only a couple days old currently but, will update later for longevity.

The media could not be loaded. So my bracket was off, some (millimeters ) screw couldn’t go in to the tv holes. Customer service sucks. They told me to return item. Just that little issue. So I fix’s the issue and, not return the item. But the item works great, on the motor side that’s what does the lifting. Takes 1minute are 56 seconds up and down. The remote setting is awesome you can press the remote, fr anywhere the tv, will go up are down. And the best part, you can do presets, if you like a position for tv. you could lock this in. Just press the remote the tv will go to that position any time. My tv is a 55” Samsung curved it’s about 40-43lbs the tv mount is rated to lift 66lbs, so no problems. Here’s a video the company didn’t pay me to for this. Over all for the price it’s a good deal. How long it’s going to last don’t know yet, we’ll see…

Can attach to 1 stud. Make sure lined up and plumb with stud. 4 screws go into drywall. I didn’t trust the plastic anchors this came with so I upgraded to 90lb drywall anchors from a big box store. I extended an outlet adjacent to TV so cords not visible. Yes motor is slow, but it still functions well. Had to reset remote a couple times. I like it. We purchased for a 45 degree angled wall. Pretty easy install and I like plastic parts that hide cords.

It's unfortunate I feel compelled to give 1 star because I like the product, except for the cable cover which caused damage AND no response from customer service. I'm very handy. I reinforced the ceiling joists and did the drywall in my porch myself. Everything went up just fine. But the cable covers are crap and caused damage to my ceiling. Now I have to hot mud the damage and repaint. Not the end of the world, but not something I have time for. I emailed customer service twice with pics and have received no response... not even a "we can't help you." The problem is the 90-degree corners of the cable covers are sharp and will dig into finished drywall easily. It would probably be fine with plaster or anything harder. The cover comes in 2 parts, each with a tab in the center that fit into a notch in the base of the device (against the ceiling). When the tabs are slid into the notch, it causes upward pressure on the ends of the covers which results in the corners digging into the ceiling. After I fix the ceiling and repaint, I'm going to file down the corners and try again. Overall, it's a decent product, but I just can't give higher than 1 star when customer service doesn't respond.

To make this review not super long I'll just note out my experience. -Im not a handy man or even great with tools -Install was very easy and straight forward -I mounted a 24"x26"×3/4" piece of plywood (that I spray painted black) on the ceiling, screwing it into the ...ceiling studs? -Using the supplied mounting hardware I mounted the product to the plywood. It's very sturdy too. I weigh 200lbs and feel I could hang on it no problem -I wired it up to an outlet in my attic using a heavy duty extension cord and surge protector (this is probably not to building code but I feel it's safe) -I put an 50" LG TV on the mount, shortly past the foot of my bed. -My room doesn't allow for a good place to put a TV so a ceiling mount was just what we needed. -The motor raises and lowers the TV slowly but it sounds like it's NOT straining the motor which is comforting for longevity. -The remote has 2 presets that you can set to lower and raise to the perfect position everytime Overall I'm very happy with this product. The quality is great and you can't beat the price.

Ok. Be prepared! You will absolutely love this motorized TV mount. You must follow the instructions to a “T”. We have ours mounted on an angled wall/ceiling. 12/12 pitch 45degrees. Needed this setup to raise tv out of the walkway while not in use. The multi settings work great for our adjustable bed. I’m also a contractor and will recommend this whenever possible. Would buy again in a second! Yes, I am a real purchaser of this tv mount. Believe me when I say, it’s perfect. Tim S.
