Features

  • Amorphous solar panel with built-in 1480 mAh lithium battery extends battery life for fewer trips to the tree or feeder
  • Weather resistant shell adjusts for perfect angles
  • All mounting hardware and tree strap included
  • Compatible with 6V Moultrie Micro Series game cameras and Moultrie feeder kits
  • Metal conduit on cord protects against varmint damage

Description

The number of days in which the field life of your game camera or feeder is extended will be dependent on model and the installation location of the Power Panel. Exposing the Power Panel to direct sunlight for majority of the day will result in the greatest increase in charge rate and, as a result, extend field life. The 5 ft. cord allows the Power Panel to be placed free of branches/leaves and features a metal conduit to resist damage from varmints. Alkaline or lithium batteries should be installed in your Micro Game Camera when using the Power Panel. Rechargeable batteries should NOT be used in the Micro Game Cameras with this Power Panel. Moultrie Feeder kits require installation of a 6V 5 amp rechargeable battery in conjunction with the Power Panel. The power panel helps keep the feeder kit battery charged. Moultrie recommends charging battery before using for the first time.

  • Unable to charge using 5V input and gets very hot when I try.
This thing got very hot when I plugged into 5V USB for charging and has never worked properly. The red light blinks when I try to utilize the 5V charging port. I read 0.44VDC with my multimeter on the 6V output and I’ve been unable to figure out how to charge this despite having a degree in electrical engineering. I’m concerned this thing will catch on fire based on how hot it gets when I plug in the 5V charging input. ... show more

I have had this product for about a month now. Every weekend when I check the battery. It is full.

  • 1 star do not recommend.
Very low battery capacity in this unit, if it's not in absolute blazing sun everyday it quits.

  • Poor cheap construction
All outdoor solar cell mounts must be made of non corrosive metal. Plastic housing are cheap, brittle and last less than 2 years. Great marketing plan to sell more accessories but abusive to customers!

  • Poor quality
Ordered the Moultrie feeder power panel thru Amazon and got the micro camera power panel by error from Mountain Heritage Outdoors. Taking it out of the box and the cable covering pulled out of the bottom of the unit. Tried unsuccessfully to put it back in several times. Screw on one side not enough to keep it in place. This product also requires a battery to function unlike the feeder power panel which does not require a battery other than the built in one in the unit. ... show more
