This is an excellent guitar, and the kit accessories round it out to a full set proper for the ideal beginner experience. I am so impressed! I am an experienced classical guitarist and I chose this for my 7 year old daughter's birthday. I felt pretty confident that the item description hit all the important points. It was well packed and arrived safe and sound. Once she opened it and we checked it all out, I was VERY happy (and so was she! this was a WOW gift). The quality of the guitar itself is excellent for a beginner. Nylon strings mean that the fingers won't be in pain, which can make a new player not want to continue practicing. This is so user friendly. It was easy to accurately tune the strings with the included tuner. (You will find that you need to tune it frequently, especially at first, which is normal). The chord chart is great, the strap, capo, picks, additional strings and gig bag are all fantastic. Getting a full kit like this is great because even a beginner needs to see the full picture of what's possible with their new instrument, and of course the gig bag means that the guitar is protected. MAJOR gift value, excellent all the way around. Another fun little part to this gift: the box that it comes in was literally taller than her, which made for some really hysterical pictures and honestly just added to the birthday fun. Most importantly, she loves the guitar. As a musician, I can say there's really nothing like getting your first proper instrument and this certainly delivered that moment for her. THANK YOU!!

This is perfect for a larger child or an adult for learning. I recommend buying better strings because the ones it comes with are trash but other than that it's great quality for the price and sounds great! The case isn't padded, but is perfect for keeping dust and stuff off of the guitar.

We bought this for my 13 year old daughter who is very interested in starting to play guitar. The guitar is decent craftsmanship, and comes with everything that is listed in the ad. Like others, we couldn’t get the tuner to work for us, but there are a ton of good tuning apps available for free. The only issue I’ve found so far (day 4) is that it does not stay in tune, particularly the smaller (higher) strings. As a former musician, this bugs me because I can’t stand it out of tune, but for the price, it is acceptable. We simply tune it before she plays each time. I can’t play the chords because the size is too small for me but it is a great guitar for her to start with, and is easier on her fingers than the other strings. Overall I’m satisfied with this product for the price.
