I tend to prefer Ibuprofen over traditional aspirin. While I buy generics quite a bit, the truth is that depending upon manufacturing standards a generic option can sometimes be a little suspect. So, I tend to go for brand names whenever possible. I hadn't used Motrin for years when I picked up this 100-count bottle of Motrin IB with each tablet being 200mg. These are capsule-shaped tablets that are coated and I found them easy to swallow. Being that these are a national brand, you get all the expected benefits - a safe cap for the bottle, an appropriate expiration date (8/2023 in my case), and a consistency in terms of manufacturing. These are designed for fever, muscle aches, headaches, and back pain. I started using them when I had a bit of a fever and they helped tremendously. As a paraplegic/double amputee, I also use them to simply take the edge off of my chronic pain and I definitely find they do help. Yes, Motrin costs a bit more than generics. Yes, I realize that's a factor for some folks (and I hate that). However, for those who can afford it I find Motrin to be a quality Ibuprofen product that is fairly priced and effective. With quality controls and manufacturing, I get the consistency I need and want and quick, effective relief from my pain. ... show more
