I’m a Mac person so I immensely aggravated by any OS that isn’t Mac because it is unnecessarily difficult to use and loaded with evil ads and apps that mysteriously download onto your phone. And the hoops you have to jump through to download photos or music from your phone onto your computer or vice-versa is not only annoying but a waste of time. Everything is so user friendly on MacOS, not so with Android. That being said, for a cheapskate like myself who refuses to spend hundreds on a iPhone and an additional $30-$40 for a phone plan that I barely use because I am not glued to my phone 24/7 like most people, this is probably the best bargain you are going to get for a smart phone and a phone plan. If you get the cheapest 2 year Tracfone plan and don’t use much data or text, you literally can get a plan for $9 a month. I have had Tracfone for probably 10 years now and it’s fine. Haven't had any issues with service over the years. Not the cheapest if you use a lot of data, but if you don’t it’s probably one of the cheapest you’ll find. The Moto E6 is actually a decent smart phone. Fast OS, takes nice photos, download any apps you want onto it, plays music, watch movies, battery life is pretty good, seems durable. activated this phone on tracfone for peanuts, works great! check to see the sim card is pushed in all the way before you close the back lid if it is shipped to you open and you have to put the battery in. my sim card wasn't inserted all the way and i didn't realize why it wouldn't activate since i thought it was in its port properly... it wasn't. everything functions perfectly and love the design. thank you! ... show more

It is still taking me a while to learn how to navigate this new phone. I have done You Tube tutorials and also some chats with Tracfone personal. I am still not using my new phone as I am still learning so I am frustrated. This is only the second Tracfone I have owned. I do not know how to place the new minutes phone card I purchased with this for $40 on this phone. ... show more

Great Phone if you don't mind Trojan Viruses, that Virus Total Mobile Scanner detects 3 Trojan Viruses and 1 is a Banking Trojan in the Unremovable System File Device Manager System Application. When phone 1st starts up there is just 1 Trojan Virus in The Device Manager App in System Files, but after System Updates, they Add Trojans including the Banking Trojan into the System File Device Manager Application. 2nd Picture is: The Device Pulse system application Virus "Android.Android.WIN32.SpyNote.e" is just Spyware based on Windows but that doesn't mean it won't affect the Device Plus App or the OS or the Android device. . Spyware Is more like Malware but I personally consider it a Virus. Spyware can be looking for your Google Account Payment Information. It's basic function is to find and steal personal information on the device. If it's a Keystroke Spyware, any personal information you put on the phone like a Credit Card by Typing The Information In, it is very possible it can be compromised. Because it records every keyboard key you typed and sends it to the Spyware Creator. I'm running Malwarebytes, Avast, ESET, Google Play Protect; 24/7. Just waiting to see if anything happens. These Factory Planted Viruses are called BLOATWARE and their found on most inexpensive phones lately. So if you get a new Android phone, 1st go to the Google Playstore and download and run Virus Total Mobile Application to see if you got any. Under Applications: Applications with Viruses Virus Total Mobile will remove them if you click on the Garbage Can in the top right corner, then it asks for Uninstall Permission to uninstall the infected app. Then it uninstalls it. I am pleased with the call and keypad quality of this phone. The keys are small, but if you push an "f," an f actually appears in the textbox, not a "d" or a "g" or whatever. We had to upgrade from our old 3G phone that still had lots of minutes left. This phone was relatively easy to set up and get our minutes and time from our old phone. Fairly easy to use and with a bunch of apps we never use.
