Must get
For the price its amazing! I have 1 very very light complaint and its with the setup (some models require sim card inserted and/or wifi to be connected in order to setup phone) and the motorola system software when important updates (system updates security updates, firmware and os updates) are available only via wifi compared to the other Samsung phones I have which can be updated via data or wifi (not talking about Google play updates). Otherwise, phone is great!!! Expandable memory is a must and available with this phone. Fast charging for both. Display is fluid nice and bright. I love the Dolby atmos on this phone vs my s23ultra. I highly recommend.

Be mindful of any Warranties expressed on Amazon's site for Renewed Phones...
Very disappointed. Phone worked fine for 6 mos., then died with an internal ROM error (see photo). At the time I ordered (7/2025), the website described the Limited Warranty of 12 mos. After contacting Asurion, Amazon and the sellers store, I learned that only certain devices have that warranty, something called "Renewed Premium", and this phone was just "Renewed", so didn't qualify. I feel deceived by the then web site description, and now have a brick they won't take back or service.

This is definitely a step up from my older phone.
The switch over from the old phone was painless and quick.

Glitchy
The Motorola platform spectacular on updates and services unlike iPhone and Samsung where you constantly have to play the update game however the Moto g versus the Moto g power are completely different animals because the size on the ramp there are only four gigabytes of RAM versus the eight in the power which is making my user experience extremely difficult a lot of apps crash and the music doesn't sync properly over other platforms. I online gamed with no problems using the g-force power but this Moto g 5G is just in one word lackluster I can't wait till they become a little bit cheaper but I wouldn't buy a Moto g again

Perfect condition
Ordered 2 phones for my spouse and I to use on Visible prepaid. Phones both are almost factory condition as far as I can tell. Transfer from our old phones went flawless. They have NFC which I really wanted. I'm using the virtual RAM which seems to be working. Batteries are showing near perfect capacity. They are both nice, inexpensive upgrades for us, combined with Visible unlimited for 30/month, are an untouchable value. Had a slight shipping mishap which worked itself out but the seller responded anyways and was extremely nice.
