I found this company Sold by: bayshine Trading on Amazon selling refurbished phones in excellent condition, so I decided to give it a try. When I received the package and opened it, it looked like a brand-new phone. Everything was sealed completely. The phone was in immaculate condition with no signs of wear or blemishes. This is the only one star review that I’ve ever written for an Amazon product. I’ve written quite a few. This phone is not unlocked, it is locked to Verizon. Beware before ordering an supposed unlocked device. Nice phone. Great price. I was excited to switch back to Android, but now I am totally unimpressed with Amazon Renewed and this seller. I can’t even exchange it because I paid through Affirm. I don’t like waiting because of someone else’s ineptitude. I’ll find what I want elsewhere. ... show more

All right let's get the elephant in the room out of the way first. This phone was an absolutely beautiful piece of amazing tech. The insane amounts of storage clocking in at half a terabyte and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 though a little dated compared to something like the Gen elite is still impressive and amazing.. The plastic body isn't really enough to make me hate it but it did launch at a thousand dollars USD.. that would be unacceptable however at $170 the back could be plastic and I'd be happy but it is infact a beautiful blueish purple glass back so yeah. Absolutely impressive. The phone boots and installs apps so fast it's honestly insane. The performance is fairly nice and impressive at $170 Now for the negative.. I bought this phone from the same seller a few weeks back ALREADY HAD TO RETURN IT hence the review title because - the HDMI mode desktop had constant app crashing - the phone was sent to me already set-up - but the ultimate kicker was that due to a 3.2 ft drop ONE TIME in an OtterBox box defender case The phone ended up shorted in the circuits due to the seller improperly fixing the phone up and yes I checked the innards of the phone.. basically the phone was stuck in a permanent boot loop because of it . Yes I tried fixing it by reconnecting the ribbon cables. So it was likely due to poor heating on the sellers end whom is responsible for renewing these phones and that could have caused a lose chip or an important capacitor which in turn caused the short circuiting So after finally getting refunded after returning it I am buying it once more and if this happens again. I will be sure to leave a very critical one star review for the seller and I will file an Amazon A - Z report for an instant refund as this is truly disheartening and unacceptable. I have never had a renewed product fail like this and if it happens twice from the same seller I'll be sure to update my review and take every action possible to receive an IMMEDIATE refund. ... show more
