  • Disappointed!
The monitor constantly disconnects! How would I be able to hear my baby if I used this at night?! I would never even know. I’m using it now during naps and it disconnects and I have to turn it off and then back on for it to work again. Not worth $182!!!

  • Best nursery item
We love this!!! My daughter can check in on our granddaughter from anywhere. Will even alert you if the room is too hot for the baby. Picture is so clear!!

  • LOVE!
This monitor is great, I love the parent unit and use the app. Both are easy to use and excellent quality. The crib mount is awesome and feels really sturdy. I've used a few different monitors, and this one is my favorite! The monitor parent unit battery life is also great. Definitely recommend.

  • Poor battery and back
When battery dies, both the monitor and the camera starts beeping, which woke up our baby. Also, the back of the monitor has a cheap ring on it that is suppose to keep it standing upright, but it wears out after only 2 weeks and now is loose and won’t stay upright. The monitor starts rebooting at random times, so you loose about a minute of camera time. Combined, this makes it a terrible product for 200 dollars. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money!
Worst baby monitor out there. The socket on the back that props the monitor up broke in the first month of having it so the monitor doesn’t even stand up anymore. After about 3 months of use the monitor screen stopped connecting to the camera and it will inky work through our phones. Of course the return window is now closed. Worst $300 I’ve ever spent. ... show more

  • Deceiving pictures
We recently purchased this particular set up to have 2 cameras. The way this product was marketed left us believing that we would get 2 cameras. One for over the crib and a second to place elsewhere for another view of our daughter. Instead. You get one camera that you can either have mounted above the crib or you can have the camera in a standard mount on a shelf. So you get multiple staging systems but only 1 camera. Beyond disappointing as we thought we'd finally found a great system that'd allow us to have multiple cameras. This will be sent back. Not worth $200+ to have only 1 camera. ... show more

  • Monitor with camera and two mounting systems...
Motorola's baby monitors are not usually found at the top of lists of "Best Baby Monitors", but they're often somewhere lower on those lists and user reviews are fairly favorable. I don't know if these are a Lenovo product (Lenovo bought the Motorola brand of cellular phones a number of years ago) or still made by the American manufacturer, but Motorola baby monitors have been around for some time now. I can't speak to long term use of this monitor. So I'm reviewing initial impressions. If I find things to be different over time, I'll come back and update. Motorola makes two basic forms of video monitors. One type connects solely to a handheld unit via 2.4Ghz radio. It's not wifi enabled. It's a basic unit with fairly long range usable only when both you and your baby are at home. The other type connects both to a handheld screen AND, via wifi to your phone. This type can monitor your baby both when you're at home and, via the app and internet, when you're away from home. This is one of Motorola's wifi models which connects both to a handheld receiver screen and to your phone via the internet. You may think from pictures that this comes with two cameras. it doesn't. It comes with one camera and two mounts. One is a typical wall or horizontal surface mount lacking any motorized control but able to connect to a wall plate magnetically. The other mount requires the camera to be taken out of the conventional mount for use and is a flexible stalk which places the camera directly over the baby in the crib, attaching to the crib rail/side. Wirecutter, the review site, said it disliked Motorola's wifi baby monitor the least of all the wifi+handheld LCD monitor units it tested, but it didn't give any wifi unit a glowing review. However, when Wirecutter reviewed baby monitors Motorola was still using its Hubble app for phone connectivity--an app I've not used--and reviewers say that the new app used by this system is far superior to the old Hubble app. OK, a few noteworthy features with differentiation between this and less expensive models in parentheses: 1) Zoom is digital, up to 2X (other models range up to 4X digital zoom, a negligible difference, honestly). 2) Pan and tilt are digital (vs motorized pan and tilt on other models). 3) 1080p resolution camera (vs 720p resolution on other Motorola systems). 4) 5-inch lcd screen in monitor is clear with good color and visibility with 480x272 resolution (Higher 1080p resolution feed from camera is only available on your phone via the app in this system. This handheld video receiver is larger than some cheaper Motorola displays that are only. 4.3-inch,es, but is also non-touch screen and not 1080p as in Motorlola's best video monitors.). 5) Typical additional abiilities include: night view, 2-way intercom, room-temp monitoring, lullabies. 6) Camera mount included. 7) In-home monitor uses 2.4GHz radio 8) Motorola "Nursery" app available for IOS and Android. This is a fairly fancy video monitor system, capable for in-home use and able to work over the internet with your phone. ... show more
