Perfect to avoid stiff neck. Tube gaters leave my shoulders cold on winter walks. The large bib covers down to sternum, to shoulders and down my back. Loved it from first use. Soft inside, high collar, are great and the stiffer windproof bid front didn't bother me. On a windy day the windproof feature comes handy. Allowed me to have lighter under layers and not bulking with a fleece sweater layer. Looking forward to use it skiing, walking and skating outside. No stiff neck this winter! I used this thingie for the first time today in moderate (64F) temp on an upright unfaired bike going 65-70mph. I wore it over my inner layers, and under my outer motorcycle jacket. It stopped the cold breeze between the back of my neck and my inner layers, and on down my back. I'd say it gives me comfort for another 7-10 degrees lower temp. Doesn't sound like a lot but I'm glad of it. Before in cool conditions I was always shrugging and adjusting to close the gap, now I can relax enjoy the ride. The one thing that could be better is the neck gaiter tube is not wind resistant - it is a light stretchy fabric that is not at all wind proof. This is not as bad as it sounds, but it's not as good as it could be. If the fabric was more windproof, I'd give it five stars. As it is, I will look for a simple thin neck gaiter tube that is windproof to wear along with this item. ... show more

User is a 6ft 5 male weighing 240lb, "stocky", usually purchaces XXL (this piece is one size fits all) Due to a neck injury in the past, I like to have some support with my warmth. I own and have tried quite a few products such as neck tubes, etc. but when I saw this I stopped. The whole thing slips over your head before you put on your hoodie or jacket and the chest and back lie covered. From the photos the neck tube looks very long and the best and back look big. They are. I love the fact that they have firmed up the front chest piece, it blocks the wind fantastically. The neck can be pulled up so that it covers my mouth and also my ears and back of head. If you have long hair, this is a godsend, no more flying ponytails. The fabric also works well to take moisture out of your breath if you cover your mouth. It is also stretchy enough that I can wear another neck tube (something to do with Turtles) underneath this. The overall effect of the stretch and length of this piece end up supporting the neck very well. I have a neck injury and this piece goes a long way to relieving some of the pain while riding. All I can say is absolutely brilliant. Perfect for riding in the winter. Covers your neck really well it comes up over your ears and your face if you want to. I use it with another neck warmer than the combination of the two are awesome. Great price and worth every penny.

I use this on the cooler mornings when I ride my motorcycle. Does a good job and provides good protection from the cold. It is holding up well and seems to be make to last. The portion that touches your neck is soft and does not irritate.

Its noce and snug but the neck/face part does not tighten enough because the draw string is not that great. Iys held by a rubber band piece and would be much better had it been a plastic stopper instead. And if iy had more room to tighten but it is limied so it falls down easily if you are smaller. Othetwise it worked perfect for my commute to apoointments in the cold. Kept my neck and chin warm. Just used my helmet sbucnle to keep it up. ... show more
