Fit great in my 2008 scion tc, The original one made by toyota makes this one feel like a cheap thin toy but should last long enough. At least this one won't make the car overheat if it breaks.

So far so good! Solved my over heating issue with my 2007 Toyota Sienna. Remember to purchase a thermostat gasket if you do not plan on reusing the old one and be ready with new coolant before starting the job.

    • Doesn't look like my OEM thermostat, but seems to be working great.
I replaced my OEM thermostat on my 2004 Toyota Highlander 3.3L about two weeks ago. I was suspicious that my OEM thermostat failed, because my engine was running a bit cooler than it normally does (I'm pretty sure that's what happens when you have a fail-safe thermostat). This thermostat looks a lot different than my OEM thermostat; it's a lot lighter and just feels cheaper to be honest... So I was worried putting it in, especially because I had to dig quite a way into the engine to get to the thermostat. Nevertheless, I took the leap of faith, and it's been working fine. The engine temperature is exactly where I think it should be now while I'm driving. By the way, it does not come with a new gasket. I was hoping that it would... I ended up just taking the gasket off my OEM thermostat and putting it on this one, because it looked fine, but I would have much preferred to replace the gasket too. ... show more
