    • Fixed my temp gauge not working
My thermostat would only let my car heat up to 160. Fan would kick on and temp gauge would go to zero. A little research and found out my coolant temp was too low. I got the thermostat in my car (2008 Chevy Malibu Hybrid) for just over half a year. It works very well (opening at precisely 180ºF) and a visual inspection just now (during flush of coolant) confirmed the gaskets are in prefect shape still. Seems like great value for very little money!

Gasket was a little thinner than I’m used to but with gasket sealant it works. Seems to work well, it solves my heater issue and the car seems to run cooler. Good product overall !

First one was just an empty box. Not open, just empty. When I returned for a real one, I kinda realized why. The thermostat is way small for the box, and there's nothing stopping it from coming out. I suppose someone lost the first one and closed it back up, and I got the box only. It seems to work okay in the car, but they should consider some tape or something.
