    • Motorad thermostat 195 degrees
This is the standard setting/temp for OEM. I replaced the old one for being stuck open and gave me a low temperature code. Installed in about 15 minutes in my '08 F-150. In my housing, the rubber gasket lays on top of the thermostat after placement in the housing. It worked as it should. The cabin temperature is now warmer than it was with a higher reading on the gauge as well. I'm back to normal! ... show more

If you have a 2004 F-150, 4.6L you will need to remove the rubber gasket the comes attached to the thermostat before installing. You'll need a new O-ring gasket. FEL-PRO 35489 Water Outlet Gasket
