My experience with this carb is less than pleasant because the throttle valve is longer than the OEM carb. Therefore the cable is not capable of being shortened enough to compensate for the longer throttle valve and allow it to completely close. This creates a and gap that allows air to pass through and a high idle issue is then. Even with the cable adjusted to its minimal sleeve length, the cable is still under tension in the rest/0% throttle scanario. It is not functional for my ATV despite that fact that it's made specifically for it. I don't know if this is a QC issue or maybe it's mis-marketed but any of the case it doesn't work for my Yamaha 125 ... show more

Order arrived early. Easy installation with one minor idle adjustment. Yamaha Moto 4 250 cc ATV has now run about 8 hours and about 35 miles on rough trails. No problems. Well worth the money.

Installed on a 1989 Moto4. The only problem was the gas line was smaller than factory. I just added a fuel filter to reduce the size. The machine is back to running excellent!
