  • A great Moto G Phone!
Color: Pantone Surf The Web
Motorola phones have generally served me we throughout the many years. My entire family round on these Motorola devices and with good reason. One, the most important and biggest reason is that these Motorola phones are wallet friendly, they cost less, and yet they offer so much more than lots of other expensive flagships have to offer on the table. Features that have been omited now in 2025 such as the micro SD card slot for expandable memory of up to 1 TB over the already generous and plentiful 256 GB's of internal storage which is a major plus. Then, the headphone jack still lives on these Motorola devices which while I may not use it cause I have Bluetooth buds, these are still useful and great to have anyways!! Performance might not be the most insane, but it's powerful enough, it's a dependable Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with 8 Gigs of RAM, handles lots of daily tasks quite nicely, and I could play games at lower settings and still get a pretty solid experience. Plus, it's not that expensive. Camera's are okay, I'm not expecting anything too crazy at this price, but they have served me well so far!! Screen is beautiful with a giant 6.7 inch Smoked display with Super Full HD display, which is not as common on devices like these, everything looks crisp and colors are nice on screen, device color options are two kinds of blue, while I do like the Surf the Web blue, there could have been another better color option, but honestly, I don't really care. I put a case on this anyways. Phone is great overall!! ... show more

  • YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A PHONE
Color: Pantone Gibraltar Sea
I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for years. Yes, I know the latest version is 25. The phone just worked. It had enough RAM ("Only" 64GB), a stylus, an SD card slot (256GB card installed) and it always seemed fast enough. I replaced the battery twice. As I said, it just worked. I'm a dog boarder so I take a LOT of pictures, like 80-120 GB per year. Did I say the old phone just worked? The ONLY reason I gave it up is because it doesn't support Android OS beyond version 9 and apps were starting to be not upgradable. We're now at Android 16. If the old phone supported newer operating system versions, I'd use it until it literally fell apart in my hand. Simply put, this Motorola does EVERYTHING the old phone did and with a better quality and noticeably faster and at less than 1/3 the price of the only Samsung that has every feature (see above) I need. The sound is louder and clearer and it looks just as good. Yeah, it's probably slower, objectively speaking, and the Moto has "only" 256GB of RAM compared to 512 or more in the Galaxy 25. The Moto is so new my carrier was not even aware of it (Released mid-April, 2025) and I was told they didn't support it. BUT, when I put those two phones side by side, they became aware of each other and proceeded to transfer all my data to the new phone while prompting me when to transfer the SIM card (And the SD card). The new phone connected and made calls, sent messages the first time. So, yeah, my carrier actually does support the phone. Literally the only "pain" was having to manually log into accounts again and, woe is me, I have to reconnect my email accounts. I last charged it evening before last and it's at 45% this morning. I am beyond impressed at how freaking easy it has been to upgrade. Even more impressed with the price. I stopped missing the old phone the next day. You don't know me but I just don't do that. Did I say I'm glad I found it? I'm glad I found it. ... show more

  • A very good mid-range phone
Color: Pantone Gibraltar Sea
I've had this phone a couple of weeks now. It replaced a 2020 Motorola Edge. First impressions are good. My first phone with wireless charging and I like that feature a lot. I use a QC3 adapter with a wireless charging pad and a wireless charging phone holder in the car (also connected to a QC3 charger. In both cases the phone gets warm but not hot to the touch. Charging through a protective case works fine. The camera is good, not great, a trade off I am happy to make to save a lot of money. Battery life has been much better than the old Edge it replaced. This phone offers all the connectivity of more expensive devices, WIFI6, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS. It comes with 8GB of RAM that can flex up to 16GB if needed, 256GB of storage ( I would about 230 usable) but the the bonus is this phone lets you expand storage with an SD card. You don't see that on many phones these days. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack if that is important to you. I don't use the facial recognition but I do use the finger print reader. It works well for me even through a screen protector which was surprising. I prefer the flat screen to the waterfall edge my old phone had. Apps launch quick and have been well behaved so far. I can't speak to the stylus, I don't use it and didn't buy this phone for that. I bought this phone because it had the specs and features I was looking for at a price I wanted to pay ( bought during Prime days). I am not a gamer or power user by any stretch of the imagination, just a everyday user of messaging, email, payments, a little social media, You Tube, and occasional pictures and phone calls. This phone works really well for me. ... show more
