I have been perming my hair for years. In the past 7-10 years I have used motions and perm it myself. NO PROBLEMS at this point. BUT, there has been reported issues of cancer to perm reports. I know years ago LYE use to be one of the ingredients. LIST YOUR INGREDIENTS
