The application is just a matter of a clean cloth and a little elbow grease. • Works great!

  • I'm a believer now, this stuff WORKS!
Size: 10 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Just look at my picture, it's as easy as rubbing the polish with the cloth on the metal, wiping it off, rinse and repeat until you're happy with how shiny it is. You don't even need to use any pressure, the polish does all the work for you. Depending on how dull the metal looks you will start seeing results almost immediately! When you rub on the polish and your cloth gets black THAT is how you know it's working. This was my first time polishing something and I'm amazed at how easy the Mothers polish made it. It was actually a relaxing and satisfying experience, do it while listening to music or something else in the background. Now I want to find something else to polish! Haha! ... show more

  • Wow. What a surprise!
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I came across some old cheap metal arcade tokens from the 1980s. I don’t collect coins, but I do collect arcade games. Finding a fist full of original 1980s arcade tokens was a real treat. As you’d imagine, they were dirty and tarnished. I cleaned them in an ultrasonic cleaner with vinegar and salt and it helped, but they were super dull. Not nice looking at all. I had about given up thinking they were old and cheap and would just have to look dull. Clean, but dull. I read some reviews of this stuff in coin collector forums and gave it a shot. WOW! Amazing results! The pictures prove it. In the photo you’ll see an unpolished (cleaned) token on the left, a new token from 2024 in the middle, and on the far right, two of the 1980s tokens that I polished with this stuff. Very very impressive results! ... show more

  • A Surprising Dual-Purpose Polish – Okay for Metal, but Great for Plastic
Size: 10 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Pros: - Works exceptionally well on clear plastic headlight lens covers. - Easy to apply with a clean cloth and some elbow grease. Cons: - Average performance on metal surfaces like stainless steel. Insights: I initially purchased the Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish to shine up my stainless steel exhaust tip, but it delivered only average results on that front—nothing impressive. However, where this product really surprised me was on my car's clear plastic headlight lens covers. I had read a few comments about its effectiveness on plastic and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the improvement! While it doesn't restore the lenses to like-new condition, it does a fantastic job of significantly improving their clarity. So, while it's just an okay metal polish, it's an outstanding plastic polisher. They really should rename this product. ... show more

  • Awesome product
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I was staying at my sister's while they were on vacation. She is a very finicky house keeper. I noticed spots on her brand new Kohler faucets, and was afraid I had not wiped things down properly. No success. I panicked, thinking I had created the spots and would have to buy her new faucets. I went on Kohler's website to see what I could do. They only recommend 1 product "Simichrome" It is NOT available in California, too stinky (VOCs). I searched and found this Mothers product as a substitute. It worked like magic. A little goes a long way. And I didn't have to buy new faucets!!! ... show more

  • Miracle Headlight Polisher
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Yes, I bought this to polish old headlights, not anything made of metal. The headlight trick does work, and quite well. I've tried a lot of headlight polishing kits, and using Mother's Mag Polish was faster, easier, and cheaper than any of them, with very good results. Clean the headlight. Wipe the polish on (don't get it on the paint), gently rub it in by hand for about two minutes, wipe it off. Clean the headlight. Repeat the polish step. Clean the headlight. If it doesn't look clear already, try more polish and maybe buff it a little more, but you don't need a drill or buffer (they really won't help, with this method; you don't want that much power). Seal the headlight with a clear coat, headlight sealer, or car wax. That's it. 10 minutes per headlight if they're pretty bad and you haven't done this before. The effect is both chemical and mechanical, and it should last six months to a year. It works great, and you can't beat the price -- one small jar of polish should do at least four jobs, even if the headlight lenses are quite bad. This stuff has a strong odor, so be sure of ventilation. It works best at temperatures above 40 F. I don't know how bad it is for your skin, but it can't be good, so I wore cheap nitrile gloves. Rags are better than paper towels, but it works fine with 'shop towel' paper towels. Use Windex (or similar) or water to clean the headlights. Very easy. You don't have to scrub like a maniac. ... show more

  • Great stuff but horrible container.
Size: 10 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I'm not sure what's going on with their product containers, but the lids can't be put on. It's like the threads on the lid don't align and match up with threads on the can. Once you open it, good luck getting the lid back on properly to seal it shut from air getting in and drying it out. I had read other reviews about this and though it was just someone having a one off experience, but nope! Like them I ended up doing the best I could to get this lid sort of on and just keeping in in a zip lock baggy. The internal product is good but the container is horrible garbage because of the miss matched lid which made using the product frustrating and for now on a somewhat a dreaded experience. ... show more
