Other than that, they look great and function perfectly. Only feature I didn’t test was heat since it’s 70 degrees. 2011 F-150 XLT. Needed to replace my mirrors due to them being beat up and saw these. My truck didn’t come with indicator or puddle lights on the mirrors from the factory and I’d read that the wires were already there. I installed these and hooked up the connections and BOOM! I now have good looking mirrors with fancy sequential turn signals and they’re able to be heated once I swap that module out. Amazing upgrade from factory and they fit beautifully. I’m 6’1”, and the mirrors don’t go up high enough on both sides. More so on the passenger side. They work and look good, but the highest point is just enough for me to see behind me. The passenger side has very thin plastic at the top and can see light through it in the top corner. As of installation, pretty easy, except the adapter cable is short and recessed in and kinda a pita to get clipped. Let’s see how they last and if it can handle some bumps without getting unaligned. ... show more

    • Not all features function - install nicely, look good, miss wired?

Installed the passenger mirror first and tested before re-installing door panel, and lights worked, sequential front lights worked, not certain about the puddle lights, So I installed driver’s mirror and tested and no front sequential or puddle lights, buttoned it all back up, and now on both sides the sequential front indicator lights and the puddle lights don’t work, additionally when I turn on the heated mirrors the rear facing indicator lights quick working, Turn the Heated seats off and the rear facing turn indicators start working again. On top of not all features Not working, the Mirrors don’t adjust up far enough to see behind the truck. You’d have to be 5’5” or less to see properly out the back, they do adjust all the way down to the tires. But I need to see the vehicles behind me. Over all the finish and quality of the mirrors is very good. Must be something miss-wired in driver’s side mirror. (Just a guess) have to pull the drives door panel again and disconnect that mirror and see if the passenger mirror features start working. For another day. ... show more

The passenger mirror is not [sic] plane glass, it is not even plain glass. It is convex. This is the second set I have recieved so can confirm that both passenger mirrors have "object is closer than it appears" If the Plain mirror glass is what you are looking for, this is not the one for you.
