This thing works great with my hitch extension for my bronco. I have a bike rack and need a hitch extension in order to get the bike past the rear tire. The rattle was so annoying and found this, not only does it stop the rattle, but secures everything to the car with the lock. Exactly what I was looking for. Works great, wish I knew this existed sooner! I have a 2" to 2" hitch extender on my vehicle for a bike rack and this tightened it up to keep the extender from wobbling around. Highly recommend!

Purchased this and a B&W hitch at the same time for a 2023 Tundra. Amazon messed up the B&W hitch order so I am waiting on a replacement, however, was able to grab a spare Curt hitch off another truck and try it out. This pin is quite easy to install and snugs up very well against the 2" receiver. No wobble at all. My only concern is that the locking cylinder seems a bit flimsy and cheap. Not sure how it will hold up. Slightly pricey at $50 for a hitch pin lock but seems to be of better quality than the other offerings in the market. ... show more

The best purchase I have made in a LONG time. Easy to install--took me less than two minutes. Completely eliminated the rattle in my 2" receiver. Arrived promptly after ordering. The only tool you will need is a 5/8" wrench. Enjoy!

1st impressions were pretty disappointing considering the price tag! Side to side and wobble movement seems to be be eliminated... Problem is, there is absolutely no difference in the up and down (bouncing) motion. Like... NONE! This is honestly one of the greatest considerations when on the rear of a 5th wheel, so that the weight acts less as a lever so far back from the trailer's axles. Not the end of the world. It still locks and does OK. But the addition of a traditional hitch clamp is what I've got to do, and would be my recommendation. ... show more
