It fits my 13” MacBook with a slim plastic case on it. Snug but easy. I was a little worried about not being a zipper close but it will be fine. Probably because the plastic case makes it just snug enough to not fall out too easily. Plus it’s not for that level of protection - just extra for slipping in my backpack or carrying around for working remotely. The little pouch is a bonus since I needed one and it’s a perfect size, big enough for clunky chargers but collapses nice. Time will tell if it cracks, that would be the only reason I might prefer real leather, but seems like nice construction so I don’t expect it to. ... show more

As other reviews suggest, there is some glue residue that transfers to the laptop when it's in the sleeve, but it's easy to scrape off with finger. After a while of using the case, this is no longer an issue.
