It works well enough for me. I use it for traveling inside another bag and I think it offers adequate protection. I have not had any durability issues yet but have not used it for a long time. It had a pretty strong and obnoxious smell at fist which has fortunately dissipated over time.

It's a nice laptop bag to have. The design is slightly bigger than my 13.3 inch Mac. Front pocket fit the laptop charger adapter and cable even though I expected a more fit design but okay. Good interior cushioning design.
